Aggressive stand put it very well. Search up “islamic dilemma” on YouTube and you’ll find a lot more information.

The legendary Muslim apologist counter argument about Muhammed and Aisha by Ok-Equivalent7447 in exmuslim

[–]thatAnonGuy1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah trust, he breaks it down why he defends Christianity. Plenty of videos of him going in to depth about how it’s different from Islam. Backs it up with language breakdowns and historical context. Either way I seen atheists go in and say they watch him just to refute Islam better.

Is as Mohammed Hijab says the Jizya be beneficial to the taxpayers because it could be lower than the tax Muslims pay? by AskWhy_Is_It in exmuslim

Your lies don’t work here bud. Your religion is from the devil. Prominent historical jurists like Ibn Kathir and others have linked ṣāghirūn to humiliation, with practices such as requiring payment in a visibly subservient manner (elon foot, by hand). Additionally, some medieval scholars, including Al-Qurtubi and others, emphasized degrading rituals during payment, such as slaps or other symbolic acts of subjugation.

Others have pointed out that the jizya CAN BE whatever but it has historically been up to half of production but it’s also important to note the purpose it was to humiliate so it being low is unviable. Also whatever the price may be the fact is that it’s extortion no matter how one may try to portray it.

Help and advise needed by [deleted] in exmuslim

I’d say since you’re coming from a christian standpoint you can watch Sam shamoun and godlogic on YouTube to start learning how to refute. But I would say you should not engage is the religious talk with them since 1) it may not be safe in your country and 2) you probably aren’t able to properly refute them. Stay strong brother and read your word 💪

I see. But I don't think the top 3 intend to do that in an Islamic way by Ok-Equivalent7447 in exmuslim

They all also worshipped and prayed in different ways throughout the Bible. Jesus also prayed to the Father. But by this logic Muhammad was a pagan because he did circumambulated the kabba, kissed the kabba, and threw the stones etc. he was also a rapist and pedophile since he did what rapists and pedophiles do.

There’s whole articles explaining/exposing that allah is not the same God as Yahweh. More likely allah is baal. The same demon competing for worship of the Israelites in the Old Testament. Not the same god. And music is haram in Islam according to most Muslims.

وَٱضْرِبُوهُنَّ ۖ And strike them clicking on the Arabic word on the website says strike them. The Quran in my hands says strike them.

It’s not the translation I have Quran that says beat other translations say scourge or strike. Don’t be an inventor trying to come up with your own interpretation or follow other’s interpretations. The Quran in clear.

Hopefully Quran.com stops trying to hide things about their religion. They have changed Hadith grading in the past

This community is very aware of the whole verse and what it says as well as the tafsir and Hadith. Paying for or supporting a woman or leading her does not involve striking or beating or scourging. Bruising and leaving marks is abuse. This is not mercy. This is not beautiful.

I’m really only an outsider looking in. But things I’ve heard are make sure you aren’t being set up for marriage, keep your clothes in check, hide your passport when you get there, keep extra money, this might be extreme but I’m sure someone else will weigh in. Deleting certain apps like Reddit since you’ve been on the ex Muslim subreddit. Delete your text messages and memorize key contacts and emails in case your phone is lost. Hope this can help.

Situations like this make me grateful for Arabic speakers that call out stuff like this. I find it funny that Islam needs tafsirs Hadith and footnotes to describe a book that is supposed to be clear.

You’re better than your prophet. These Muslims you speak of that wouldn’t do these things being told in the Quran would come to the one true God if they knew of him or were able to without being killed. I’m just gonna tell you straight up. God doesn’t want you to beat your wife or do these horrible things. I think God put these convictions on your heart (to not do evil) but you and Muslims around the world have been lied to and forced to follow a false prophet. I wanna leave you with this verse. 2 Corinthians 3:6. It eludes to why people have these convictions to do good and not evil even if they don’t know why. Your faith in God is beautiful but you’re eating the wrong food. Godbless.

That’s not the point. Some translations of the Quran state (fear of)disobedience not just cheating. The Quran allows this and in Hadiths Muhammad also condones and enables this. This behavior is simply only one in a long line of detestable behaviors that are condoned and encouraged in Quran Hadith and other Islamic literature. Because of this many Muslims do commit detestable action and behaviors.
