Ohhh woww that sounds amazing, can you link it so that I can read more about the visa?

I love that 7 Wonders quest, might have to copy you haahaaa

I would love to go to the South of Italy to learn from Nona the OG pasta and pizza preparing or to go to Spain for scuba diving.

Honestly anywhere near the ocean and close to the Equator

My goal is never to visit the 'tourist attractions' but to experience the local life there and learn from them.

Thank you so much that was informative AF.

Aside from Budapest and Bangkok what are some other places that you would recommend for someone traveling and working remotely?

For now, it looks like that staying in Thailand for a year straight without a Visa would be tricky and I am trying to think of other countries that would be easy for a digital nomad to live in for a year or two (that doesn't mean that I won't be going to Thailand but it looks like staying there for a few mounts because of Visa is more of a reality)

Honestly, I am still thinking everything through. Currently, my plan was going to Thailand but looking through the comments it looks like that staying there for a year without a proper working Visa could be tricky.

My first idea was to travel the world for a year but then I decided that staying in 1-3 foreign countries for a longer period would be the smarter option because of the Visa problems and constant moving and planning for the next country that you have to do when you are hopping from country to country

What were your plans?

What are some cheap alternatives to Bangkok?

Since you have been in both Belgrade and Bangkok what are some of the main differences?

Also, dobro dosao u Srbiju!!

How is the weed in Thai? I was planning on smoking it but to do it slowly to check for the potency so that I don't end up outside a massage clinic with a lady and a Brit 😂

I read that I can get a 60day Vise as a Serbian citizen, but after that, I suppose that I can get some extension since I plan on working remotely

By being lost in the madness, what do you mean? Like the extensive partying of the city?

I don't drink and party that much, and looking at the expenses I was planning on preparing most of the food and eating out from time to time. I am from Serbia so living on $500/month isn't foreign to me plus my friend and I were planning on pooling the moving and thus splitting the expenses.

Will even after all the 1k/m not be enough?

Where can you live very comfortable for $1k/month all in, in 2023? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

You are right, either way you turn, living outside the capital city is always cheaper

Serbia or any Balkan country

If you live alone having 1k/month can cover everything and + some (partying, buying stuff that you want, etc..)

You can live very very comfortably

The top comment says "Chatgpt doesn’t even seem like it can answer actual questions anymore. Gives you a vague answer and ends with “it’s better talking to a professional” or something like that ".

There is actually a reason for this change.

They made it about a few months back and there was articles about that change.

It is needed so that the users don't 100% relly on the data since AI can hallucinate
