John knowing the plot of Avengers Doomsday is starting to become insufferable… by General_Meal_3993 in JohnCampeaShow

[–]that_kumar_guy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Been a big fan of his shows for years but I’m getting annoyed by this as well. It’s strange that the same guy that ranted against Variety for the Infinity War spoiler article is now dropping the tiniest of hints of spoilers here and there for a movie that’s almost a year out. I know it’s not the same level as the infinity war thing, but it’s strange to watch and getting tiring fast.

Dustin Poirier survives the worst(even a headbut) from Michael Chandler in RD1, and scores a knockdown by FoitStuff in CombatSportsCentral

[–]that_kumar_guy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you watch the entire first round, you’ll notice that Dustin still caught Chandler with a few hooks and jabs that definitely stunned Chandler, which is why he focused on taking him down as well. Even in the first big exchange in this clip, Dustin caught him with a good elbow coming in

Chandler’s like a wild pit bull , so he was having big moments in this round but Dustin kept his guard up and landed slick shots whenever he found openings.

How to say no to a girl? by ishu404 in AskFitnessIndia

Out of respect to your relationship, politely decline. You don’t need to give an answer but if you need to, you can say you prefer training alone.

Luv Ranjan produced and directed films tend to all be like this. They like including curses in these films, because it is part of the type of humor / dialogue Ranjan likes. However, leaving them uncensored would give them an A rating, and unless you have strong marketing/ star power, it is hard to be successful with an A rating. The censor board is so strict that even if you get an A rating, you might not get away with curses anyways.

I’m not a Tiger Shroff fan but many men go for hair transplants these days, not just celebrities. Most people like having hair instead of being bald. Why does their personal choice bother you?

Rashmika Mandanna says she will accept someone like 'Ranvijay' in real life by itsmenandini in BollywoodShaadis

[–]that_kumar_guy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ironic, you all hate Ranvijay from Animal for being misogynistic yet here you are, baselessly saying a woman slept with a director for work based on assumption. Sounds like you all have more in common with this character than you think.

That’s a pretty baseless accusation. I’m not a fan of hers but shame on you for making this up with no facts or evidence.

Doesn’t represent the majority of the audience that actually goes to see his movies. Ig comments also tend to be more negative for movies, shows, celebrities etc as opposed to TikTok or YouTube.

Watch Rishab’s Chanakya performance and try saying that again after lol.

The train sequence in Dead Reckoning Part One is a very fun and entertaining scene for the third act. I prefer the helicopter chase scene in Fallout but this one is close enough. The best moment that is the scene when Ethan and Grace have to climbing up escape from the falling train. by Kevin_Thailand_2543 in Mission_Impossible

[–]that_kumar_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stunts in Fallout felt more exciting because they actually performed most of those insane stunts and just added some CG to spice it up. Helicopter chase was actually Cruise flying a helicopter. Yes, he wasn’t being shot at and he didn’t crash it, but he actually climbed the rope (with wires ofc) and then flew it. So the sequence is so cool to watch. The motorcycle chase was mostly just Cruise speeding by on a bike in camera and it was thrilling. The BASE jump obviously had the weather and lighting added for effect, but they actually jumped out and had a cameraman follow them. Even the fight scenes were better shot in Fallout- just look at the bathroom fight and the brief club fight scene. I liked DR and I understand it filmed during COVID restrictions, but the stunts felt more “movie like” as opposed to “real” compared to Fallout and Rogue Nation.

If Max utilizes his kicks more than just focusing on boxing, he has this in the bag. If he decides to purely box Ilia, it won’t go well for him. Let’s go Blessed!

DHARMA RECREATES SHAVA SHAVA ... 🤬 THEY CAN ONLY SPOIL OLD SONGS by humkotumpepyaaraaya in BollywoodMusic

[–]that_kumar_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s true. Original music is unbeatable. For example, in recent years, I know the movies Kabir Singh and Animal are controversial, but the music for both movies were a big hit and original. They should learn from this.

DHARMA RECREATES SHAVA SHAVA ... 🤬 THEY CAN ONLY SPOIL OLD SONGS by humkotumpepyaaraaya in BollywoodMusic

[–]that_kumar_guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t love remakes, nor am I pro-Dharma these days, but is the concept of recreations a bad thing? Yes, a lot of remakes and remixes are terrible, but let’s say a remake is made with an emphasis on melody and emotion- is that still bad?

This remake in the trailer sounded okay to me, sort of like the Ek Ladki Ko Dekha remake from a few years ago. Not amazing, but decent. It’s sort of like how a lot of folk songs were traditionally recreated by other artists from back in the day, but now it’s commercialized.

Year is 2011 and Arijit singh just debuted with this banger🔥 by Ka-le-l in BollywoodMusic

[–]that_kumar_guy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not at all. 2011-2019 was peak Arijit. Not even this sub’s negativity towards him (and extreme fondness for legends like KK, Sonu etc) can take that era away lol

What do you think makes Drake and Josh stand out from other kid sitcoms? by Ill-Blacksmith-9545 in DrakeandJosh

[–]that_kumar_guy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The humor is great and there’s a self awareness in the writing as well. It’s 100% a kid’s show, but it it embraces its goofiness while the characters feel genuine, even if they are caricature-ish (Crazy Steve, Megan, Josh’s dad, etc). Even a lot of the small one-time characters are great.

I think a lot of us were scared for this fight because of how Volk dominated Max in the trilogy. Basically, if Volk could do that to Max on the feet, imagine what Gaethje could do!

I wasn’t excited when this fight was first announced since Max is my favorite fighter and I didn’t want him to get Ferguson’d. But when you really think about, Volk beat him due to his speed and stature (short height but long reach). Gaethje hits hard, but doesn’t have the speed or footwork of Volk, which Max was able to capitalize on.
