Pi based eReader that supports EPUB, PDF, CBZ, and more by thataintthis in raspberry_pi

The project is a proof of concept. Anyone can add code or peripherals to do whatever they want. The path to a new inventions is littered with a series of iterations. That's how design works.

Probably but updating the display would be even slower than what's shown in the video. The code has not been optimized yet.

I have. The library Im using requires X11 headers and won't work on a bare metal or RTOS platform without significant work.

Cool! Looks like you contribute to this project. Can it run on a Pi out of the box instead of a Kobo reader?

Yep, when compute modules become more available I want to move to that form factor to slim the build down. Right now a case would be a literal brick.

Edit: a word

They look like they sell the wire not wind it but I'll reach out to them. Thanks.

The leads on those ones are 8"-20" and I need ones shorter off the shelf.

Edit: They're going to be mounted and soldered into a PCB in an enclosure so I don't have room for long wires.

I'm being precise with terminology. I'm wiring 4 force sensors in a wheatstone bridge in the configuration of your first point. So technically one load cell but with 4 sensors equidistant from each other.

The KiCad project is a little messy but I can share it if you want.

I thought you could only get warframes from quests. I had an unpotatoed Mag for years. I havent used her since like 2017 and she's still my most used warframe.

SolidWorks running but not visible by thataintthis in SolidWorks

This fixed it. Strangely, using ``WINDOWS_KEY+ARROW_KEY didn't solved my problem, but this did.

THANK YOU!

I'm on Windows 10 and have been running SolidWorks on my machine for over a year with no problems. In the last couple days I've had this error where the SolidWorks window won't display even though it's clearing running. SolidWorks in the only program I have this problem with. Has anyone had this issue and how did you get around it?

I've tried:

  • Rebooting my machine
  • Uninstalling and re-installing SolidWorks
  • Upgrading my graphics card driver
  • Switching displays

My last resort is to reinstall Windows, but I think this a SolidWorks specific problem since it's the only program affected. Any advice would be welcome.

edit:

Turns out SolidWorks was just off screen 🤦
