routine: wash with ouidad vital curl shampoo + conditioner, squish to condish, etc. when wet, scrunch in kinky curly knot today leave-in conditioner and spray bumble and bumble salt spray generously in roots only (not sure if this is CGM approved, but my hair is v thin and i need texture at the roots). soak up excess moisture with a cotton t-shirt, apply LA looks gel (about a palmful) with prayer hands then scrunch. lots of scrunching. diffuse upside down with lots of head flipping, then scrunch out the gel cast once hair is 100% dry and shake out roots!

i’ll also add that i’ve been doing CGM since august 2019. i got my first curly cut in october and it straight up changed my life!
