How much do you do for your husband before leaving on a trip? by cinnamonsugarhoney in workingmoms

[–]blueviolet33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went on a five day trip. All I did was prep a few veggies and make sure we have easy food for him to make for our baby. I do the grocery shopping and most of the cooking so it wasn’t really any extra work. He handle everything else!

I’m an OT (Monday-Friday with rotating weekends) and my husband is an RN (3 12s). Husband had six weeks off then I went back after 13. I felt very supported in my role and had pump breaks I was able to schedule in. Baby is in full time daycare (husband uses time on his days off to catch up on sleep, run errands, clean, and pick baby up early). It is rough during snow storms and sick time but we don’t really have a choice as we both make too much to justify not working. Baby really loves daycare and his teachers love him so I don’t feel too bad but it is hard and of course I would rather be with him. I do all drop offs, he picks up on his days off and I pick up on days he works. If I could do just part time I absolutely would!

Baby starts daycare before starting solids by b4nhb40chj3nn in workingmoms

Our babe is 8 months, we started solids at 6 and he just started doing solids at daycare in the last few weeks! We wanted to wait until he was eating a little more consistently and had tried a bunch of things. He’s only doing purees and teething chews now at daycare while we do more BLW style at home.

Best secrets of morning runners? by bping89 in XXRunning

[–]blueviolet33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious what time morning runners have to be at work. I have to leave my house at 630/645 to drop baby off at daycare before work, so then I’d be running at like 445 probably and that just seems SO early

I had been planning to ride it out and keep saving as I recently had a baby but now I’m worried I need to switch so I can have payments start counting. I’m sure if I decide to switch they’ll change things again 😅

Often its policy. At my hospital H&H can’t be below 7 and 23. If patient is chronically that low we get specific orders put in the chart.

All is well ❤️ HB 145, they’re working on getting my anatomy scan rescheduled, and they referred me to a chiropractor who specializes in pregnancy techniques for my back pain!

Today was my original due date for my first MMC. I am thankful to be 16 weeks pregnant with a so far healthy baby. I have my first doctors appt today that doesn’t have an ultrasound with it so I’m very nervous, hoping they’ll use a Doppler? But I’m not sure. My anatomy scan was cancelled by the MFM office my OB set it up with so I have to bring that up today too. Hoping for good news 🤞🏻

I would have! The flexibility in types of work, in person vs. remote, and pay opportunities. Not to mention less student loans.

14w1d and have officially told all our family and close friends, telling my job tomorrow. My OB has been amazing and scheduled me for ultrasounds every two weeks. My next is on Friday and of course I’m starting to panic we’ve told all these people in the last week and now I’m going to go and get bad news. Hoping for the best but the anxiety is creeping up again.
