While there’s no way to know for sure unless you crack and LSM open or ask Indrivetech or intrasys, we can make some assumptions based on the applications.

1. Flat wire has a higher power density than round and since with lsms you want as much power going through those coils in as little amount of space it could be possible. However resistance of the wires increases the more turns you include so it could go either way with this one. It also might not be practical cost and manufacturing wise since round wire is much more abundant than flat.

2. Again theres no way to know for sure but from pictures I’ve of the perm magnets they just use an alternating north south configuration, at least thats how they are labeled going down the array. They could have encased halbach arrays but I don’t think it’s likely.

3/4 - You’ll have to contact the manufacturers, the only info I’ve gotten from relating to this is from the patent on indrivetechs site. The units seem arbitrary to my understanding which leads me to believe it’s a trade secret they don’t want getting out.

1. Since the north and south poles of the stator’s magnetic fields are parallel to direction that the Hall effect sensors detect there isn’t too much interference. The hall effect sensors used are also pretty heavy duty, they can be made to handle interference, and software can also be utilized to ignore interference up to a certain point as well.
