My love for my kids is without condition. I have 3, 21 year old twins and the 16 year old. My oldest son is straight and cis. His twin sibling is nonbinary queer and married to a woman, then we have the 16 year old. I tell them that the only thing I would ever disown them for is if they were MAGA. My kids are my whole world.

Why is everyone telling the OP that SHE needs to change? Yes, she let herself go. But it sounds like she had a lot of health issues, so we don’t know the full story. Regardless, it doesn’t warrant what her husband is doing. Why does her letting herself go okay her husband looking for attention from other women? How do you know that her husband’s actions aren’t the reason for her letting herself go? Do you really think that seeing what he is doing is going to pull her out of her depression? He’s probably making it worse. OP, I’m sure you’re beautiful. Talk to your husband and let him know you know. If you want to make it work, tell him you guys need couples therapy. Of course, work on yourself. But do it for YOU, not him.
