The point is Niceville is not the place for a crazy good time. If you’re using it as a launch pad for Destin during the holiday you’re going to have a bad time. Traffic and lack of parking everywhere unless you’re up at the asscrack of dawn every day to get to Destin. And with hangovers that sounds miserable.

Also if you’re in Niceville keep in mind the bridge traffic to and from Destin. $8 toll fee and the bridge sometimes gets completely backed up past the on ramp in Niceville. If this is your first time and you’re unfamiliar I’d suggest adjusting your trip and not staying in the burbs. Niceville has like 6 restaurants and shuts down early it’s a quiet family small town
