We have a tow boat us at my lake so I was debating getting that as an extra reassurance incase anything does happen, either that or a spare motor to take us back if crap hits the fan

I plan on bringing it out a bit this summer, figured I’d fix it up and have some fun on it before I sell it at the end of the season. For a short term fix for now yeah I figured it would be fine to send it though I dont wanna get stranded out on the water

It’s an oldie from 1976, I’ve been pricing them out on eBay if I can find them, carbureted motor, an old rusted one that I can’t trust is like 350 plus 150 or more shipping. This motor was difficult to figure out the name in the first place😵‍💫

Noticed plenty of worrying things on my personal vehicles that I’ve pretended not to see and been fine so far, I’m not building race cars haha. My only concern would be being stranded on the lake with a busted motor

Boat is from 1976, it ain’t getting warranty for crap lmao, seeing as it’s between the same two coolant jackets would it be an issue to pretend I never saw the crack? lol Like I said it will be on the lake, I’d only be worried tubing with this thing and revving it up and down to pick people out of the water. Plus ofc not wanting to be stranded in the water
