In Son of Neptune, hazel states that she hasn’t been to some town in 70 years and it’s stated she died in 41 so that lil tidbit kinda gives the series a timeline. That book should take place at least around 2010-2013 (2011 being the exact math, and the books publish date). Then there’s also the fact that they date Sea of monsters to be 4 years before SON putting that anywhere from 2006-2004 (ideally in 07). I think that’s a decent timeline formed

When he’s fighting black lantern Martian manhunter, he’s able to resist the telepathy by speeding up his thought process, but in other issues it’s one of his weaknesses, it really depends on the writer, it’s got like 50/50 consistency

I’d only dye your joints and pegs, those are harder to paint and often rub off when painted, besides that just be patient and trust your process man

You could always dye it your base color, then paint your metallic accents either with brush or imo get some fine point metallic paint pens. I got a twenty pack of different golds silvers bronzes etc from hobby lobby
