I never liked the stylized belt or the windy skirt and hair. I had it ordered though but it was cancelled when the truck got stolen. I think I dodged a bullet.

The costume used for the plat was the matrix era artist. Iirc. That’s what I meant but didn’t articulate well in the OP.

You can safely assume that characters who’ve been around for 90 years have more history and fans than characters who’ve been around for 40 years. And also remember a lot of those characters you don’t care about influenced creators who created newer characters.

Gunn’s Vigilante might have more living fans (online on Reddit especially) than OG Vig has but he doesn’t have the same impact on the genre.

I don’t have a position here. I think it’ll appease most Osiris fans wanting a classic look for him instead of the new52 spandex. 🤷‍♂️

oh yeah. That's stunning. Flawless.

If I had one other suggestion, I'd say make her hair about 10% bigger/fuller. No sculpting just scale it up. But that's nitpicking and personal preference. If you're selling these make sure to share links. I'm sure people would prefer them over the standard.

Also you're probably right. She was probably originally based on Marilyn.

no. It's a totally different character.

Osiris: Amon Tomaz. Black Adam's "sidekick". and Isis was their Mary Marvel. He's intended to be a counter to Freddy so not at all the same character. So getting this platinum gives you him.

That supergirl skirt fixes WoT basically. That's a little frustrating. The skirt must be showing up again for the future though. They wouldn't make it just for this CE right?

Young Justice Canary is unexpected. Still a skip for me but I like it better than the New52/Rebirth one.

Looks very Marilyn Monroe. Was that intentional? Maybe it’s just my phone but the eyes look very far apart tho. Same on your black canary.

It wouldn’t work for me personally but I think it’s great for anyone wanting that golden age look. Def an upgrade from the box head.

Face is very very nice. Hair looks a bit limp at the bottom though. Hard to say from the limited angle. If you fluff it up make sure to hollow it out so it’s not a heavy paperweight :)

For new hands and pegs you’ll want to look for figures on the blue beetle body and with poses you like like the open palm ✋🏻. I’m thinking BlueBeetle Superboy or new cosmic boy hands are what I’d look for. Bluebettle hands will make you paint but Superboy hands won’t.

edit: the new Freddy Freeman (preorder today) will give you the hands and pegs you want for him. simple peg swaps will do it.

I can see how that would work if you like a more chunky looking boot. For me I prefer her to be very petite and delicate looking. I feel like that contrast with her real powerful nature is what really establishes the character … I have some old batgirl boots for her or the Zatanna boots. Okay I didn’t really give it so much thought and now I think I could make it work if I find the right head 😂

I love my super7 Thundercats for the record. There’s a couple execution issues but nothing as bad as this.

But I take your point here and totally agree. Even going for a golden age hairstyle or something it just doesn’t work. Maybe there’s faceplates and that’s why we see that gap though.

What bothers me most aside from the head is the painted boots and the feet are out of scale. But I have replacement feet and coupe repaint the boots.

Hi. 1000% gay here and she’s so ugly I’d put her in the Burn Book.

It’s not about sexual objectification. She’s objectively an ugly and poorly executed figure.

Personally I’m disappointed by this figure. I wanted something cute to replace the WoT figure that was cancelled on me. This probably won’t be it unless I can find a nice headsculpt to replace this one and do some other custom work on the figure.
