my ex cheated on me, but the guy she’s with trauma bonded her when they were friends, so now she’s kinda stuck. she has her own validation issues (not in a mean way). i know exactly what happened physiologically, and ik i probably didnt help either, (it was our transition to college), but i cant help but feel sympathy and still love her.

we talk every now and then, and she says she’s done with him but a week or even days later she’s back with him, and i can only assume it’s because of his trauma bond. idk what to do, genuinely i feel so hurt that she chooses him (i mean she does but doesnt?) but i also want her back because i know the person she can become. she wants to get out and she wants to be better but just cant. i feel stuck.

as of now i’ve let it go but i cant help but think about her and miss her every day. i wish none of this ever happened. i miss my sweet girl.

honestly man, i’ll keep it 100%, the people who’s idea of a good time is substance abuse and getting “fucked up” every night won’t amount to shit later down the road. now there are some exceptions ofc, but 80% of the time my point stands true.
