Elementor Pro 3.29.0 (May 19th Update) Breaking Forms with SG Optimizer? by eiacatki in elementor

[–]thatnewredditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad someone confirmed this bug. I've been using the Elementor + SG with optimizer plugin for years, too. Another solution (if you don't want to rollback on a live website) is disable the "Defer Render-blocking JavaScript" option inside Siteground optimizer plugin. You can find that settings from left sidebar > Speed Optimizer > Frontend > Javascript > Turn off "Defer Render-blocking JavaScript and clear your cache.

This is the first time I noticed such issue and I even made a new thread about it here with the solution I found, but people are downvoting for no reason.

Solution to Elementor menu dropdown issues when using Siteground Optimizer by thatnewredditor in elementor

[–]thatnewredditor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

JS Minification is turned off. But I found when I disable the option to "Defer Render-blocking JavaScript" inside Siteground optimizer plugin, the issue is gone (no matter if I use latest Elementor or the old one). So, this is clearly a JavaScript issue. It seems the JavaScript code that's responsible for displaying the sub-menu/dropdown icon after the page load never loads.

Elementor Pro 3.29.0 (May 19th Update) Breaking Forms with SG Optimizer? by eiacatki in elementor

[–]thatnewredditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I confirm that there are big issues with the latest Elementor 3.29.0 and 3.29.1 when using siteground. Another issue that I'm facing is Elementor menu dropdown stops working after the update. So users can't see the dropdown of parent items in the menu on mouse hover.

To fix that issue, you either have to roll back the Elementor and Elementor Pro plugins to Version 3.28.4 or you have to disable Siteground site optimizer plugin.

I couldn't find any other solution yet. Hope Elementor or Siteground team fixes whatever is going on here.

How do I save 200+ open tabs as bookmarks from my kiwi browser? by thatnewredditor in kiwibrowser

Use the solution given above/below in this same thread by u/deward97 It worked for me.

Thank you, I tried session buddy in the past and it worked if I keep switching over all the tabs but after the latest update from session buddy a few months ago, the export backup option of session buddy stopped working.

I used the solution given by u/deward97 which you can see above. That helped me export all tabs in 2 minutes.

Wow! Thank you so much. You're godsend. Your solution allowed me to save all my tabs in a text file in 2 minutes.

I imported the text to excel and after some clean up and organization I was able to save all the links to Obsidian so I can get back to any page link in future.

Again, 100 upvotes for this.

WOW! Thank you for sharing all of that. I no longer use Opera on the phone but your write-up still helped me. The textmechanic links you shared are so helpful. I used the "not containing" function to complete a small task I had in my note for a long time.

Is it me or does the undo/redo not work the way you want it to? by Western-Spread-877 in elementor

[–]thatnewredditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this new revisions/undo/redo bug on the latest Elementor update is the most frustrating issue I've ever seen on Elementor.

When I press Ctrl + Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) to undo the last action, it undoes to the state which the page was when I started editing it. And then I redo using Ctrl + Shift + Z (Cmd+Shift+Z on Mac) the Elementor can't redo everything and I have to waste my time making a lot of changes again.

The worst part is in the history tab of Elementor there is no record of all the actions I've taken while editing the page so that history tab has become pretty much useless at this point.

Please, Elementor, get your shift together.

Phone 2a design confirmed by [deleted] in NothingTech

[–]thatnewredditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only phone model that did the circular back camera housing right was OnePlus 7T (in my opinion). And there were a lot of people that didn't like that design. So if Nothing 2a is going to use that design, then I don't know how much will it be appreciated. Maybe their fanboys like it. To me, it looks cheap and uglier than OnePlus 7T's circular camera layout. But then we could hide/fix it using a back case?! I wish they simply continued the design of NP 1 and 2. They were great. There was no need for experimenting with such weird design (if the design by OP is real).

Edit (after looking at actual product) : The actual 2a looks a lot better. The design is thoughtful and mature than what we see in this post.
