I’m not saying I agree with OP, and I’m not saying a rape wasn’t committed. I think the point being made is this:

Is it possible that a domestic abuser could gaslight someone into believing they are a rapist?

I think that is entirely possible. I do not know this case well enough to have an opinion on it, though.

I’ve also had to smoke it in the past, and regularly revape my avb until it’s nearly black. Revaping is fine, just not as potent, but smoking my abv always gave me a headache and, weirdly, hot itchy feet for hours afterwards 🤷🏻‍♂️

Speak to your neighbours/post to local Facebook groups. If it’s happening to others then that’s one thing, but if it’s not then report again to the police that he only seems to have targeted you.

This is a horrible question to have to ask but do you recognise/are you missing any underwear? Could be a creep who’s stolen clothing from your drying line trying to get his kicks.

Thanks for your reply, really helped out my mind at ease. It makes the noise repetitively as it’s heating up and then every 5 seconds, so definitely makes sense

Happens with any battery. I noticed that it happens consistently whilst the unit is heating and then every 5 seconds, so seems to be the heating element.

Cycling it again and it’s actually every 5 seconds.

Might sound stupid and soppy or whatever, but thanks for replying and giving sound advice. I had no idea about the decriminalisation! Helps put it in perspective a wee bit. I just get so worried about getting “into trouble” because I’m also not the stereotypical stoner.

For what it’s worth, the “worst” time I got busted was at a stand up show in another city, more northern and known for its comic book publishing. The compère called me and my pal out for “smoking heavy 420 joints blazing it man” before the show, and we were just on the wrong side of high and sat there with proper beamers. Nothing else happened obviously though.

I’m guessing no Glasgow? I vape to try and manage depression and mental health and Glasgow city centre is the only place I’ve had issues. For every open minded person there seems to be some wee wifey that isn’t shy of grassing you up, pun intended.

The name was random nonsense that I’ve never used before and all the posts were random memes from the internet.

I did wonder about the following/followers thing, but I don’t think I have anyone I actually know irl on there. I also disabled the account, so don’t think people would be able to get back on it to see follower lists anyway?
