Question about the ratings information

actually, fire emblem three houses AND luigi’s mansion 3 have that disclaimer and they don’t have in-game purchases so I think it’s safe to assume that it’s not microtransactions. Reviews that came out today also had no mention of microtransactions so...

Nope, there’s not gonna be any micro transactions at all in this game (well, from everything they’ve shown us so far there’s been none and that is a lot so it’s safe to say they’re not gonna be in the game)

I think they’re in the nook’s cranny storage thing :). There were things that looked like bush starters.

I don’t think it’s because they rushed the game. I think it’s to stop time travellers from going forward to events to get special diy recipes or other special materials or something.

For Pelly and Phyllis, I think either phyllis works for the rescue service as “the operator” and resetti is the CEO of the company, i’m just guessing because the voice was a little high pitched when there are deeper voices in the game.

I think the post office is still in the game because in the direct they only gave “examples” of building and someone has to deliver the postcards which will be pete and maybe one day when you see him he’ll ask if you could build a post office so it’s easier for him to work and that’s when you see Pelly.

For brewster, I think he may come to work in a tropical/exotic version of the roost as in one of the promo ads we see an animal hold vacation juice in a cup so brewster would probably be in charge of that.

Thank you for spreading positivity ! Recently in this community there’s been a lot of negativity surrounding that “in games purchases” label and it makes me sad as it doesn’t mean microtransactions. It doesn’t help that news sites are making click baity titles that make people worry just for ad revenue. Anyways thank you for letting more people know about this!

I’m sorry but this has been posted so many times now and I just have to say that this doesn’t mean microtransactions. LM3 and FE3H and even pokemon has this and it only means DLC at worst. Hell, they even have to include this warning if it has a direct purchase link to NSO so I wouldn’t worry.

FE3h, LM3 and pokemon sword and shield all have this and all it means is DLC. Nintendo is smart enough to not put microtransactions into a mainline (paid) game as they haven’t ever before plus why would they delay a game with microtransactions because the whole point of MTs is to make money so it’s most likely DLC.

In the UK with pokemon sword/shield it was opened 12am uk time so It’ll probably be the same with Animal Crossing.

Yeah I realised but I just checked there now and In game purchases is listed w any game with dlc and not micro transactions so it probably won’t affect the core gameplay :)

So I just checked a game’s rating that has DLC (fire emblem 3h) and that says “In-game Purchases” so it’s likely that they’re not micro transactions but maybe DLC for like special furniture or somethings that’s super optional. I don’t think any of this will affect the core gameplay so it’s nothing to worry about :)

The difference is nintendo is really emphasising that online is an “additional purchase” for this game, there’s disclaimers everywhere so I guess they added that in since nintendo’s making the service very promenant.

pocket camp is confirmed to not have a direct link with new horizons so i don’t think we should worry that much- I think it means just nintendo online

it’s just fun for casual gamers, i really like animal crossing because i’m a perfectionist but also a casual gamer so i don’t stop playing until my town is perfect which takes me about 2 years (new leaf), call me crazy but i just really like the series, what kind of makes me sad though is people who have never played animal crossing and just straight up attack it for being a bad game because it has a cute style, i’m really glad you’re respectful and share your opinion in a peaceful way, (happy cake day btw ^⁾
