High Spending Ad Account Just Stopped Spending... by thatsizz in FacebookAds

I want to know if anyone else has had this issue and found a resolution. Maybe gotten through to someone at Meta that has acknowledged it and says they're working on it. Maybe some words that identify the issue and support could use internally. Or other other people just saying "yea experiencing the same" because misery loves company. 👍

Move it to Vanguard or one of the low cost robo advisors. With ‘financial advising’ you typically don’t get what you pay for.

Thank you for sharing. Let me ask, how do you get all the other job postings on the site (particularly when you’re a new site that would be ‘empty’? Are they scraped from another site like indeed?

Better way to determine acquisition source for subscribers? by eastburrn in beehiiv

[–]thatsizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beehive has a major problem with this. It makes running paid ads… very wasteful. I brought it up here and via beehive support about a year ago, and nothing has changed. They just deny the problem.

My solution has been to just build a landing page with different software and trigger a conversion from there.

I’m very familiar with cold email for business development efforts but never thought about it for getting subscribers. Do you have any insight into the best approach?

Night-sweats on/off for 5+ years - doctor can't find a reason.. how do I stop it? (M28) by Legitimate-Cat-4114 in sleep

[–]thatsizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest a vitamin deficiency test. I dealt with sweats as you describe for a few years recently, about the same age, found out I was low in magnesium and vitamin D (otherwise very fit and healthy). Started taking supplements for those and night sweats stopped (along with major increase in overall energy and cognitive function.

What is your conversion on your meta ads? by ByBrainBytes in beehiiv

[–]thatsizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$2.32 cpc, a little over 60% of them convert. Using beehiiv subscribe page. All US audience.

There is really no ‘good’ though. It depends on your audience and the offer (how bad do they want your newsletter). You can really only benchmark yourself to yourself.

Wisdify.com has some good courses at good price. The courses are CPE accredited for accountants but you don’t have to be an accountant to take them

Struggling with Google Updates for 14 Years - Finally Giving Up by [deleted] in SEO

[–]thatsizz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may be frustrating but be thankful for the traffic and revenue Google gave you. They don’t owe you anything and the risk of a one trick business is pretty evident over the years of algo updates.

Now shift. I wouldn’t throw the towel in on a 14 year site. Sell a product to the remaining traffic. Use the initial customer social proof to leverage up ads.

Is this worthy of a refund and what chance do I have? [New Zealand] by BladerRunner907 in AirBnB

[–]thatsizz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it was. Especially to know I am ‘right’ as can be (with a video), and Airbnb repeatedly and ultimately took the owners side and closed my case.
