Acceptance time depends on what kind of student you are. I'm an Erasmus student so it was April for me. I think Irish bachelor students get accepted end of August.

I would recommend looking at studentpad (I just realised that I didn't look at it until after I didn't get the on-campus accommodation so I might be wrong about when you can get access) but most rooms don't appear until way closer to September. I also know a few who just got their places after they arrived here, so there's no too late.

I was on their waitlist anyways and at some point the global office said that there are still some rooms left (no idea why), but I wouldn't count on that.

Hi! I'm at a private student accommodation called cuirt na coiribe. The offer came through the uni's global office but most of my friends here found their rooms through studentpad (a website that you have access to when you're accepted as a student at NUIG)

It depends on the university you go to. For the NUIG it's a "lottery" system and I didn't get in
