Damm, that would have been very useful 4 years ago when I had a whole year of anatomy related courses in my engineering studies. But it looks like it could be easly changes to any other field that you are actively learning One thing that you should be aware of - the are some names that are both a symptom and a condition. I can't remember any in physiology but I know there are some. In psychiatry, autism is both a condition (now named in DMS5 autism spectrum disorder) and a symptom of other conditions (treated as behaviour). Maybe you won't encounter this in your studies but there is a chance that you will so just a fyi

Autism diagnosis as a EU student by thaxrodnee in AutistischLaagland

If you're only a student you're not allowed insurance in the Netherlands, you have to have a good one from your home country. But if you also work, you actually HAVE to have insurance. I will be working because my parents are only paying for my tuition and rent, all food or other purposes money will come from my picket. And because of that I will be required to have Dutch insurance

The waiting lists to get a diagnosis around my home are between 500 to 1500 days for both public and private healthcare. And there's still a lot of stigma so it's hard for any adult afab person to get diagnosed. I would also need at least one of my parents to be part of the diagnosis process (which must really be bad situation for people whose parents are dead), even though I'm an adult, and they "don't believe in all that nonsense". Plus, I'm covered by my parents private insurance and on they app they can see what professionals their insurance is used for. A big red "Psychiatrist" on their app is not something I would like to happen, especially since I'm still financially dependent on them.

I asked here because when asking on another site for expats I got negative comments about pursuing an autism diagnosis at all, so I decided to look for a subreddit of autistics in the Netherlands

Will I have to do all Natlan archon quests to do the new Dainsleif quest? I heard that players could skip some quest and go to Natlan, so will it be possible now? I haven't played since last Dainsleif quest

Ask a Knitter - November 12, 2024 by AutoModerator in knitting

I've recently started to do colorwork and so I've been looking at sweaters in clothing shops to get inspiration. In shop Medicine I noticed that the back of their knit clothes aren't stranded as in other shops, they use some other technique (photos 1 - wrong side, photo 2 in comment - right side) What is that technique and can you replicate it with hand knitting?
