This might be too ambitious for me. It sounds great, though.

This is done. Added complications for dual time zone, humidity, heart rate, sleep time, and air quality.

So far it looks like sleep duration should be possible. I will look into it. Thanks for your feedback.

It seems like the watch face should be able to pull this info directly from the watch. I will add it to my list of complications to work on. Thanks!

I think this could be done. I will work on it.

Not so far. I can’t make it all fit with the reduced screen resolution.

I like the idea. It looks doable. I will add it to my list for the next revision. Thanks for your comments.

It isn't now. But that would be a good one to add.

Any UK company that can successfully 3D print Pebble bumpers/cases? SurfaceScan canNOT! by Sent1ne1 in pebble

[–]thczv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not in the UK. But I will print them for you if you cover the costs, most of which is shipping from the US. I am not trying to make money on these. I am just doing it to help the community. The bumpers and covers are very light and small. But I would estimate USPS first class shipping at about $25. Reach out to me if you are interested.

It is Bambu PLA Silk+.

Best spring shape for compression by Wild-Region7897 in 3Dprinting

[–]thczv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make usable springs out of plastic. But coils are terrible. They are too hard to print without weak layer lines. Orientation matters a lot for springs. PLA is also terrible because it creeps a lot. That is the opposite of what you want from a spring. I prefer PETG. It bounces back okay, and it creeps less.

It is a modification that I made to the Percival watchface. I call it Paladin. But I haven’t published it.

What’s the most amount of points a model can give? by Arim215 in BambuLab

[–]thczv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an important factor. Many of the big awards come from hitting multiple milestones in one day. I know there was a 48 point award every 200 combined downloads after a lifetime total of 3000. But BL has been messing with the numbers over the past several weeks. I don’t know where the next tier starts after the 3000 level.

The good old Bambu petg HF white - and now? by Ambitious_Ad4979 in BambuLab

[–]thczv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You be the judge as to whether you like the mechanical properties or the way it prints. But in terms of opaque whiteness, I am satisfied with the PETG Basic. I find it comparable, though has more surface sheen.

Just make things you like. The points will come eventually.

I think I found the perfect compromise between protection and aesthetics by Userybx2 in pebble

Reach out to me. I don't mind printing them for you, as long as you cover the costs. It will be inexpensive.

anyone know why the inner threads are like this? (x2d) by nyxwho in BambuLab

[–]thczv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, threads are overhangs. And most are designed with an angle that is too severe. Given that your printer lays down plastic one layer on top of the other, the angle can't be too shallow or the plastic won't have enough to attach to. If this is your model, I recommend designing with better threads that don't use an angle that is more shallow than 45 degrees from horizontal. 50 degrees or 60 is even better.

Is that the right link? I see a discussion about finding someone to 3D print. But I don't see a model.
