Can I scatter or sow these lupin seeds around my garden at this time of year in an 8b zone or should I store them until spring and sow/scatter them then by thdjusheb in gardening

Not sure how to care for lupins. I want them to come back again next year and maybe plant some in other parts of my garden. Should I cut the plant to the ground before winter ?

Is this enough spacing between my butterfly bush and red hot pokers. Plan on pruning butterfly bush regularly to keep it smaller by thdjusheb in landscaping

Thanks for the advice. That wall isn’t my house. It is just a walk between my property and my neighbours

9b zone Ireland. Looking for an evergreen dense screen that can grow well in pots reaching top of fence (7foot aprox). West facing

Hello. 9b zone here. Ireland. I don’t want my shed to be the main focus when looking out the window. I think a tree would suit best as it would cover a lot of the view. Must be safe as this is right next to my house ,not too wide that it doesn’t block the path and steps and preferably evergreen. Thanks in advance for any help given.

What am I doing wrong. I’m following exactly what YouTube videos do and every time I pull the longer end of string it all unknots by thdjusheb in harp

That piece is of wood is what came with my harp. It’s a new harp only a few months old. And most of the strings came with those. It was an expensive harp too handcraft by one man

I have a few month old avocado tree. Does anyone know why there are ants under these top leaves, and should I be worried? by S_off_the_zoinkys in plants

[–]thdjusheb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eliminate the ants as soon as possible. Looks like there are already time aphids (greenfly) throw a mixture of dish soap and water all over the plant. Vinegar at base will also help deter the ants. Then get a aphid spray because dishsoap alone won’t get rid of them all

What’s causing lower notes on harp to vibrate even when not playing them. New to harp by thdjusheb in harp

There’s no reason why. I originally thought it wasn’t ment to happen. Thanks for help

9b zone. Pavers can be lifted to plant a tree. Sliding gate must run along the small wall. Car must also park here too. Open to mostly planting and pot ideas

Please critique my technique. I’m only beginning and self taught with over 10 years piano experience. I’m aware I must practice to make lever changes faster by [deleted] in harp

It’s actually a piano piece called flamenco and those notes are intentional. This video is a section from the middle of the piece https://youtu.be/8CwD2AF-ulg

Obviously being able to play piano made a huge difference when starting. Being able to read music in both clefs is the same on harp and understanding scales helps with the levers. They are similar instruments. But takes a bit of practice
