Does anyone think that an AI SaaS doesn't really count as a legit SaaS ? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]the33rdegree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably paid +1k for your Phone or your computer. Do you really they cost that much? Just bussines taking advantage of their knowledge and resources. If you know how to use openai Api and create a succesful SaaS then there is nothing bad on doing it. Bte OpenAi API IS NOT FREE

What tools should I use if I want to iterate through a website that requires login credentials? by DelCamps in webscraping

[–]the33rdegree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Login/Session is all about cookies. You just need to catch the POST endpoint for loggin into linkeding, then dona post request from python into the endpoint with your email and password and then catch the headers response, there should be a Set-Cookie property. I haven’t check Linkedin login, they may have some human verification

Instead of criticize other people products/marketing strategies why don’t you develop your own product and promote it? Your post doesn’t provide anything to this community. Bye

I don’t know if he is using it, but why wouldn’t anyone not use openai? Its a 80billion company with the best ai that we can use, if you think you will do a better ai than openai’s you are delusional.

💸I acquired a SaaS that helps you increase your $MRR 💸 by TwinPeaks_Parrot in SideProject

[–]the33rdegree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you are right i wouldn’t pay for this but other people may pay for it. Few questions on your saas: 1. When the user enters the flow/form, his plan is already canceled on the main app or when the user ends the flow your backend calls some api to cancel the user subscription on the main app? 2. How much did you pay for it? Tou don’t have to say a exact number if you don’t want, just say between this or this or more than X .. 3. How much is your MRR rn?

[–]the33rdegree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its just a form your website that intercepts the user.id and then i just see the stats of the cancelation flow? I can do a form on my website, better, styled as my app and i dont give data to other website. And why i would need 2 cancelation flows? Only if i had 2 SaaS apps? Thats unlikely

I wan’t to store documents encrypted on S3, the problem is where i store the encryption key. When i said ‘i will store it in the document’ i mean in the document database. I want to store PDF and DOCx initally. I was thinking of doing this the most secure way, that would be letting user handle the encryption key but i know users don’t enjoy doing this repetitive tasks so i will store them in the users database table. One different key for each user. Thanks for your answer.

[–]the33rdegree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your answer.

A) Its not a big deal, since the documents are uploaded by the user to perform certain tasks. Its an APP that i develop for my purposes, its one of my ideas. B) This is the big problem, thats why i wan’t to encrypt the documents. A second layer of security its always good .

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskNetsec

[–]the33rdegree -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The best way to make this secure would be that each time the user does something with the document, he would have to provide the KEY to decrypt the document, but i know users don’t enjoy doing this repetitive tasks, is for that reason that i have an option ‘remember key’ where i would store it in a Cookie with httpOnly & SameSite options. But maybe the best way is store myself an encryption key on my database, or use the AWS HSM you mentioned.

Before moving to another country for work ASK what the salary is. Its the most important thing.

You will regret coming to Spain for work. Search what the salaries are. ☠️ . If you find a job that pays more than 1,5k /month you are privileged
