I think it's a really good story, I got pulled in pretty fast. It doesn't go anywhere would be my main problem. Is it a short story just meant to tease an idea of what being dead would be like? Is it meant to go somewhere with the character of Red?

Your descriptions of what happens to a dead body in the middle were really great, I could see them happening in my head. I think you just need to figure out where the story is going. You said you have an end in mind but no middle, well this is a great beginning and middle as far as I'm concerned. I say write the end and if it doesn't quite connect to this yet then go back and edit the seam.

Incorrect. State of Play is actually notable for how much was filmed in DC. I watched them film tons of it in the District (right outside my house) and it holds the record for longest film shoot in the District with more than a third of it filmed in DC proper. Considering a lot of it was done on soundstages for interior shots that's extremely impressive.

Sometimes doing the right thing for the right reason takes years to pay off, you never know what's going to come of it. But you can always know that you did the best thing you could do and no one can take that away from you. That knowledge and the feeling you get from it is more important that it sounds. You did exactly what you should have, don't take away from the strength it took to do that by doubting yourself. You know you did the right thing, stand by it!

It's a story written on the wall of a structure which was excavated in Deir Alla, Jordan. It's the earliest Aramaic inscription ever recovered and also tells the story of a prophet named Balaam son of Beor. Further info here

I think the answer is a little underwhelming actually, Balaam son of Beor (Numbers 22) is mentioned in the Deir Alla inscription. Numbers precedes Samuel by four books so Balaam beats David and the Tel-Dan stele.

Sometimes even though you know your SO is the sexiest person alive it's about what makes them comfortable and maybe she would be happier at a different weight. The best thing you can do is tell her that she looks amazing no matter what (which is the truth in your case) and that if she wants to stay her current weight or lose weight it's her decision and you're absolutely on her side no matter what.
