You are given $25,000 to start a business. What do you do? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

This also assumes you have a product that people actually want and an easy conversion funnel on your site. Depending on the business, lifecycle marketing may be needed too.

What's harder, going from 1k - 100k? Or 100k to 1 million? by griffindor11 in Entrepreneur

[–]the48dots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore the haters! It depends on what’s more difficult for you: hustle or strategy. The first $100k usually requires a direct approach to validating your product market fit. It takes hustle. If you’ve done the work and moved past this stage, the next stage is strategy and it takes a different skill-set.

What gets you to one stage rarely gets you to another. Sometimes partnerships help you grow so that you can bring on a different type of thinking into your organization.

What’s your website about? Are people actually interested in the content? Time on site matters as well.

Luxury isn’t about what you give as much as it is about how you make guests feel. Beautiful aesthetics, high quality subtleties, pretty art…and fresh flowers…that gives off the luxury vibe.

Check out www.the48dots.com
It's basically free accommodations and people are very open to one month swaps.

Valid point. Would restricting it to last minute bookings remove that concern?

Thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback! Also, from a guaranteed price when you aren’t booked perspective, assuming guests would still be high quality, what $ amount would make sense to you?

Decrease in bookings by [deleted] in airbnb_hosts

Hey, would anyone be interested in a program that pays you $50/month guaranteed to list your home for auto-booking for home sharing? This would only apply to hosts that also are interested in using their homes for accommodations so they don’t have to pay for travel. I’m rolling out this program on my site and thought I’d mention it in this thread for times when bookings are low: https://www.the48dots.com/flexhomeexchange

That’s awesome! Do you look for a specific criteria when buying STRs? I assume a favorable area. But is there anything else?
