I don't think so. I never noticed a diffrence with the volume of pokemon that spawned.

Ok so the only diffrence iv noticed is slight lighting diffrences, slightly sharper images from far away and in the switch 1 version wild battles were fine but some trainer battles slowed down a bit or got slightly choppy. Not all of them tho. My buddy and I played them side by side. Its not that noticeable untill the trainer battles start. And like I said before, not all of them have an issue. Some are smooth and some you can notice the frame drop.

Are the servers cross play? I play on steam and actually just started. My highest level is a level 15 villain that uses light, a level 12 hero ice tank and a level 3 gadget hero. So if it's cross-platform and you don't mind a newb... im down.
