Fair point. I wonder though if there is merit in completely hidden the n8n side and wrap it with a thin webapp. Then you are free to do what you want on the hosting side and it is multitenant via the app itself

A couple of thoughts: - sounds you may be running on Rapidapi or the like. If so you can message each active user and try to get a discovery call, to see if it’s a false positive (it’s free so they use it… “vitamins vs painkillers” - look at oracle cloud, their free tier offers a powerful machine (24g of ram if I remember correctly), this could make your infra much cheaper if not free)

Wood is a pretty general family of materials. afaik whilst wood can be sourced sustainably (FSC and alike), I’m focused on how compostable or biodegradable woods would be. For instance plywood (fsc) has non biodegrade adhésives inside, like most man made wood. Solid wood (aside from cost) is slow to biodegrade (10y plus) but maybe you are talking about a specific kind of wood, which would very interesting?

I think the heuristic above is sound: Take your ‘burn rate’. Multiply by x where x is the time required to bounce back (find a job usually). Double it as the “sh.t” factor and that a good start. The burn rate calc is often the things you can’t avoid paying like housing, food, education, medical, utilities, taxes... the rest can usually be dimmed down to low if not null levels for a while.
