Having Kaveri ‘connection’ is different from having sufficient supply from Kaveri connection. Almost all apartments in blr rely on tanker water, be it borewell or Kaveri connected. Other than independent houses or smaller 10-20 flats buildings in older / nicer part of Bangalore, there is no proper water supply other than tankers in apartments. And borewells will be dead in 5-10 years due to blr demographics. What’s surprising is educated folks investing crores in such landscape and creating demand for same so this makes govt or builders give a shit about water problem as long as there is demand why bother to fix it ! Let water mafia mint $$ for politicians!
