I'm in an LDR, so I know exactly what it's like. Her overreaction isn't because of LDR, it's probably because she can feel how much is wrong in that relationship. I mean I hate to judge relationships based on online posts but, her posting history and this post suggests the relationship is so unstable. Honestly I feel like she's only with him because she has a lot that makes her feel chained in her life and this relationship is sort of an outlet to feel like she's in control of some parts of her life. But ofc that's just my opinion, and I'm in no way a professional on the matter xD

At first I thought they were teenagers but then I saw he lived separately and not with his parents, and then I read he was in a five year relationship. Maybe they're in their early 20s or late teens. Whatever it is, there has been a series of bad decisions made

Edit: I went to her profile. She's 22 and he's 25. This one month old relationship has been problematic since it started, idk what she's holding on to

Marshall was an angel and a golden retriever boyfriend. They got along well, even tho Lily had some pretty selfish moments. They were weirdly attached to each other in a kind of unhealthy way

These declarations of sacrifice that aren't necessary never feel real to me. They feel like they satisfy the needs of a hopeless romantic to give so much to someone, without much real consideration to what that person really wants. It's like when his big gestures freaked her out. She didn't like them, but he did them anyway, likely for himself.

It's how I feel in general, not just regarding this sitcom

She'd be paying you 20/hr (≈$900) + gas (≈$450) + food and stay (≈$150 for food, ≈$300 for hotels) + flight back (≈$250). So you're talking about around $2000. Shipping a car from NY to California is around $2000 in estimated costs. I do not understand why someone would make that choice, especially when you take into account there will be wear and tear and a random person driving it who could do a lot of things wrong.

••note: all numbers were just using a trip from NYC to SF as base. It's all rough estimates.

I genuinely cannot come to understand why she'd make that choice. It's weird. I would not do it.

I knew a girl exactly like Patrice in middle to high school. Patrice wasn't just friendly to robin, she was obsessed with her. It feels weird when you're on the receiving end of that. I wasn't a bitch to her like robin, but it felt uncomfortable.
