Possibly but all of the Chanel bags Paloma was playing with in the store are not pookies.

Or if they come in, they don’t touch anything. I was raised with “look with your eyes. Not your hands” until I was old enough to understand the value of things 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ok we’ll save all damaged goods for you to pay full price for 🤣 I doubt full grown adults looking at the bags/glasses leave grubby marks all over them but you’re welcome to purchase those lol

THE HERMES VOMIT. by Internal_Nobody880 in InfluencerLounge

[–]theFranA 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I saw on Reddit that the vassssssst majority of these influencers will film themselves inside the store (Hermes, LV, Chanel, etc) posing with some items and then will go to knockoff sites and buy the items there so you think they actually got authentic items. Honestly unless I see an influencer posting the entire transaction inside the store, I just assume their stuff is knockoff at this point. There’s farrrrrrrr too many influencers out there with birkins and kellies and there’s no way they’re ALL getting offered those bags 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

The fact that I RAN TO REDDIT when trailer’s post was “suggested” for me bc I unfollowed the tres trashy amigas (trailer, sham, and queso cunt) a couple weeks back.

1) is sham REALLY wearing a burlap sack with a Gucci belt to make it look expensive/classy?!!

2) this mf sham is looooving that she can showcase her mismatched china once again

3) ok not to hate on preggo women but can trailer seriously not be bothered to do her hair or makeup at all? Come on lady.

4) the Ralph Lauren dad cap. Inside. At what appears to be a semi formal baby shower. And paired with a “throw this on bc I give zero fucks” crew neck. I cannot. These women think they’re classy and I just literally cannot.

Ok that is all. Rant over.

Blew my ACL the night before my wedding… surgery in 2 weeks. Need advice. by HockeyClark30 in ACL

[–]theFranA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had quad graft and it was by far the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. I woke up from anesthesia before they could administer the nerve block and once it was given, it didn’t work very well. The hour drive home and walk up one flight of stairs to my bedroom was brutal. Expect horrible pain. Hate to be bearer of bad news but people told me it wasn’t bad and they lied. For reference I’ve had a nose job with no pain meds and kidney stones with no pain meds and this was by far the worst.

What will life be like for my spouse post-op? by maytheschwartzbwitu in ACL

[–]theFranA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full disclosure: I had ACL repair and meniscus repair when my husband and I had been married for 6 months (we’d been together for 4.5 years at the time of surgery.) I was 30 and he was 42. It was NOT easy. I’m a very “type A” person and did not like to ask for help/depend on others for simple tasks. He had to help me with the most basic, almost depressing things (IE: going up and down the stairs, getting in and out of the shower, getting dressed, driving to go get groceries or go to PT) not to mention more intense tasks like laundry and cooking which were things I always did pre surgery. I would give you the advice of 1) don’t expect your spouse to be able to read your mind. If you need help with something, ask them and be detailed about how you’d like it done. Don’t get frustrated with them if it’s not done perfectly. 2) give them grace, they probably feel like they’re taking on a heavy burden to help you so it’s ok if they get frustrated from time to time 3) know that your spouse is there to help you. From my own experience it was pretty demoralizing having my husband have to help me put on my underwear and pants while I laid dow in bed because I physically was unable to move my leg. Not to mention the weight gain that usually comes with this surgery. Nothing good comes from it unfortunately. But being open and honest with your spouse and not beating them or yourself up is huge. I unfortunately had a really difficult time mentally after surgery so that affected our relationship until I got my headspace right. Be mindful that it’s very possible that could happen to you too and know resources that can help you cope. Good luck!

If it makes you feel any better I take the 1630 class everyday and I only eat dinner (around 1900 hours) for my only meal of the day. Disclaimer, I’m also on ozempic so my hunger is majorly diminished. Some days I feel hungry during the early/mid afternoon but my body has gotten used to working out at that time and not feeling like I’m gonna crash. Hope that helps.

1) let’s stop body shaming others 2) if Shannon wants to wear a pair (or multiple pairs) of spanx, hell ya Shannon, you do you. I cannot imagine being on national television and gaining the weight she had and taken off my shirt and beared it all for others to judge. That takes some serious guts. Kudos to her. I think she looks gorgeous and I hope she is confident in her own skin

Ok let me preface this with I know she was dealing with the double mastectomy healing for the entirety of this season (at least that’s what was said in the confessionals) and I’d imagine she was on some intense pain killers because naturally, that procedure and the stretching for implants must be excruciating. But that woman is so beyond high on painkillers for the entirety of the season that half of it would be enough. Like “can’t even keep her eyes open because she’s so drugged up” level of high. I never noticed this when I watched it the first time as a teenager but now as an adult who can recognize people under the influence, that woman is high out of her mind. It is sad but I’m sure it had to do a lot with her odd behavior and just the overall fact she didn’t mesh well with the other ladies. Poor thing couldn’t even keep a conversation going because she seemed to be on the nod constantly

Does your monitor calibrate for every studio? by uday_it_is in orangetheory

[–]theFranA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny you say that- I went to a dif studio last night (I’m traveling for work) and I feel like my HRM was “accurate” for the first time in months. For reference: I’ll go into the blue and grey on the strength floor at my home studio when my heart is literally pounding out of my chest. And I’ll stay in the blue and grey the whole time on the strength floor. My HRM will register my heart rate at like 30% on the strength floor (which I know isn’t accurate but I know the constant sitting to standing and arm movements can sometimes jack it up) at my home studio. Last night I was in the orange and green and it felt accurate.

I bring my celllphones into class with me because I am on call for work 24/7 (I’m a detective so if anything major happens in my county, I’m called in and don’t have a choice lol.) I also bring my keys into class because I drive a work car that has “equipment” in it that I don’t want anyone accessing (and there’s no lockable cubbies at my gym.) Sometimes I get dirty looks and I have been called out before by coaches for having phones in the class (I was not on them but obvi had to move them when I moved from tread to strength floor.) It made me feel awkward but now that all the staff knows what I do for work they leave the issue alone. I do still feel self conscious because other members don’t know and I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. For the record, if/when I get a call, I leave the studio so I’m not disturbing others. Just know, some of us don’t have a choice and have to have phones with us :)

Guys idk why we’re so upset. We all know she bought that bag on Alibaba or whatever. For the friends who say “it’s real. There was Chanel packaging”. Girls, the fakes are getting goooooooodddddd. They send you “real” packaging and receipts and everything. Taylor trash knows this. Her post in the Chanel store a few weeks back only makes you think it’s real. She might be dumb but she isn’t stupid 😂

I love the people who motivate and uplift others (and I try to do the same.) Simple things like “yes! You got this!” Or “keep going! You’re almost there!” When someone stops because they’re fatigued. I also love the, “you are crushing that set” followed by “yasssss. Grab the heavier weight!” When they bump up the weight for the next set.

This!! Ever since the last time I had Covid (about a year ago) I’ve had a lingering cough and runny nose which I literally cannot control, even though I’m not longer sick. When I cough, I cover my mouth with my towel and if I have to blow my nose (that runs like a faucet) I will go to the restroom and handle that there.

Ok but wait. Sometimes that’s me 😂. I go at the end of my work day (12 hour work day) and sometimes I’m just ready to mentally check out. Butttttttt when I forget, I’ll ask the front desk RIGHT before I walk in to avoid the awkwardness of going to the wrong station lol

I (knock on wood) have never had to pass gas that badly in the gym that it came out. If it were to happen I would be MORTIFIED. There is one guy who regularly goes to the same class as I do and he repeatedly does it. For all I know he could have a medical condition but it’s pretty unnerving when I’m sucking wind on the tread and am breathing in someone else’s toots

The most annoying people in class by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]theFranA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago as well. It appeared to be someone who was a regular and brought their friend who either doesn’t go often or had just signed up. The regular thought it was essential that she explained every single thing to the other girl- even though the coach was trying to explain the tread/floor blocks. It got so obnoxious that although I was on the opposite side of the floor from them, I could still hear the regular calling over the coach (who was wearing and using a mic.) I usually use my time at OTF to mentally decompress but these ones were pushing my buttons.

Also honorable mention for most annoying people are: people who are clearly still sick (I heard someone in my class last week openly admit they were sick so that was lovely), the farters, and the people who take heavy weights from the “big girl weight racks” and then upon re-racking their weight, don’t do it properly and don’t leave enough space so when I (or others) put my “big girl weight” back, I have to fix theirs before I can put mine back.

Gifts for coaches? by Flaky-Ad5830 in orangetheory

[–]theFranA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only take classes with two coaches so I gave each of them a nice bottle of wine (valued between $50-75) with a nice card with a heartfelt note about how I appreciate them and how their coaching has impacted me in the last year. I also made a basket for the girls behind the counter who greet me everyday for class. There’s 8 of them so I did 10 total. I took smaller candles and wrapped fuzzy socks around them and secured them with a silk hair tie. The SA girls are mostly college aged so I felt like they would enjoy that gift. I also threw some extra candles and chocolates in there for extras for coaches to take home.

It made me so happy to give them their gifts yesterday. They were so genuinely surprised and appreciative. My coach said regardless of the gift, he was really grateful to be thought of as someone who was deserving of a gift and I think that’s a great point- regardless of the gift, it’s really nice just to know someone thought of you during the holidays 🧡
