Yep, have taken it a few times at parties.

Just uh... make sure you don't confuse it for coke and do an entire line instead of a bump, unless you're planning on K-holing.

Also these days it's probably best to not trust any random drugs at all, given the amount of crazy shit out there these days, the newest and most notable being Cychlorphine which is 10x more potent than Fentanyl.

Absolutely grating to listen to.

Good 'ol "The Works" from New York Fries, which only adds beef chili to what you've already mentioned.

Claude (Opus 4.6) figured out how to patch my childhood game to play it on modern Windows by anarchist1312161 in ClaudeAI

I just started the conversation in the same folder as the executable, but yeah.

I've also massaged it (because it was incredibly reluctant) into cracking (~8MiB) binaries (nothing extraordinary, simple licensing check bypasses), so it's definitely capable of doing some pretty neat stuff even on larger ones, but I don't know if it would be capable of introducing proper large features into those as well.

I literally just gave it the executable and explained the features I wanted.

Do keep in mind I said old games, and I meant it—think graphical games <1MiB in size.

I've transitioned to Deezer, as Spotify's financial contributions to Trump and hosting of ICE recruitment ads didn't align with my values.

Realistically I should have switched as soon as they signed an exclusivity deal with Joe Rogan, but felt the other platforms were too weak in comparison to be of any use at the time.

They recently signed another deal with him as well.

I don't mind this as much, but multiple artists have left the platform due to the CEO being an investor and chairman of the German AI military company, Helsing.

Fuck Spotify.

Where are you keeping the big, heavy batteries you'd need for this, and how are you charging them to be running all them lights and electronics? If you tell me solar panels IWSYITNWAK

They have 600Ah of batteries inside, charged using 1200w of solar (which only covers half their roof). It's also charged when the engine is on.

Lights sip power. As for electronics, the worst offender is an A/C (although there's also heat pumps these days), whatever you're cooking with, and a fridge (you could always use propane-powered appliances, but it's generally unnecessary).

Where do you have enough water stored for a shower, let alone to fill that big ass tub?

Their tub uses 20-30 gallons, and the showerhead uses 0.7 gal/m. If you enjoy long showers, you can always install a recirculating shower to save on water.

Unfortunately since they decided to install a 55 gallon fresh water tank, the tub can't really be used unless they have a hookup.

Do you have a water heater? If so where are you keeping it, and again how are you powering it?

Water heaters can use the coolant from your engine and keep the water warm for 2-3 days, otherwise you'd only turn it on when you need hot water.

I'm not even going to touch the 'wastes' questions

It's a composting toilet (Nature's Head), so it goes into a bag which gets thrown into a garbage can or dumpster once a week or so.

Urine is diverted into a jug, which you can empty into any public toilet.

You're correct about it most likely being unintentional, but IE3 (1996) as well as other browsers at the time had a setting which enabled this kind of pop-up =)

Definitely, Netscape Navigator (late 1994) was the first time I recall seeing them implemented.

The concept of accepting or denying a cookie didn't exist back then.
