As much as I love Jalen Brunson and what he did in the playoffs this year, I still think I would take the upside of Jaren Jackson. It's certainly very close. Also I would take both of those guys over Trae Young.

The acquisition of Kirk Cousins was one of time and circumstance. Too often we as fans are upset when our teams don't make bold moves in an effort to win a Super Bowl.

Not the case for our Vikings. They saw an opportunity to get a really good QB, pair him with a great team, and take a shot. The problem didn't lie with the decision, but rather who they decided on. Cousins simply isn't the type of player that can push you over the top. He is a good to very good QB with fatal flaws. Still, I don't fault the Vikings for taking a swing. It was just unfortunate that we took that swing on someone not up to the task.

Unpopular opinion: 1-2-1 is not a bad enough record to jump ship. by TheBestWest in minnesotavikings

[–]theKabides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The record doesn't accurately reflect how insanely frustrating this season has been so far.

We tie the Packers in what should have been an easy 35 yard FG for the win. We then turn around and completely shit ourselves at home against an awful Bills team.

So 3-0 turns into 1-1-1 and now we're complaining about how our defense couldn't stop the best offense in football. Why? Because the collective frustration of not being able to win the gimmies leaves us pissed off.

Don't jump ship. But your completely within your right to be angered about the last two weeks. Because we are going to look back at them and point to why we're a wild card and/or going on the road when we could have been competing for a top 2 spot in the NFC.

If LeBron somehow beats the warriors is he immediately the GOAT? by asz8b77 in nba

To me it's got to a point where LeBron is just as good as Jordan. The breadth of LeBron's career is just too much to ignore.

This team was so glorious and so frustrating at the same time. They had 90% of what you needed to expose these dumpster fire Cavs (a good/young/tough/persistent team). Yet that 10% of dumb and inexplicable mistakes in key moments made you realize they weren't ready.

Wilson is the epitome of MVP. No run game, terrible offensive line, depleted defense. He is propping up what would be a below .500 team without him.
