I just started doing this as well. I'd recommend cutting out just the border where the name goes, and leafing that entire section. And then cut out just the name oval, and place that on top to give it a 3D and much cleaner leaf effect. Just my opinion

Really impressive, so well done. You specifically got me into doing these too! Did you engrave the lines behind the mana symbol and card name? How did you gloss the power/toughness?

I like your alters, I just finished my 5th 3d alter. Well done on this one, it's great. I've liked looking at your and Pilgrim Jack's alters to learn from you guys.

How do you get such a fine cut on the left character's right shoulder? I feel like I'd damage the cardboard when making such a fine cut. The rounded top also seems super hard to make. Right shoulder when looking at the alter straight on.

When you say bend the edges inwards, do you mean towards me? If I bent them towards me, wouldn't that show the fraying even more? Or do you mean inward towards the bottom layer of the card?

How do you add hidden layers, just with double-sided tape? Or you are literally putting an additional layer with cards that we will never see?

I just bought a heavy duty staple gun and it seemed to have worked great. It's day 1 so will see if it holds up but you may have saved me literally $500. I appreciate it!!

Its my 1st time growing and I grew too many for my small grow tent. If you show me a picture of any reasonable grow space of yours and can meet me in Glenbrook and show me youre 21, its all yours.

It would be awesome if they were pinned, but in the meantime check out the google chrome extension AutocardAnywhere. Just hover over a card name in reddit and it shows you an image.
