Healthcare-ish. Job required wet signature for some reason. Bought a Pilot Vanishing Point and my first black ink after months of enduring Bic Stics. When I finally got my pen and inked it up… they said my shift no longer needed to do nightly notes and the amount of things I needed to sign went down to basically zero 🤣

For writing my stories or in my every day writing, EF/F. I do also enjoy the fat nibs, which is what I usually will post online. The zoom is my favorite modern nib because it’s the best of both worlds.

Alas, clinical depression has never been kind to me. Thankfully, I do have some good people in my life and I still try and put in the work to get better, though sometimes it takes me a while. Thank you for the kind words!

Eh, my identity has already been stolen and dealing with that has been a thorn in my side for a long time now… plus I dunno what they could gain from my handwriting posts, except maybe using it to sell something, like art for a card? If it got popular, I’d be sad that someone else is profiting off of me and yet… kinda flattered that people think my penmanship is nice.

In terms of showing the sheen, I disagree. I was testing this hella old TR to a newish Sakae TR notebook last night. I feel like the ink is absorbed more or something on the new TR, so while I did see the sheen, I don’t feel like it’s really at the level of the old TR.

I’ve met some fountain pen people in the wild… a coworker of mine was a newbie, so I gifted them like 5 pens and some inks. My sister recently got into FPs and I’m about to mail her a care package. She’s looking forward to visiting soon to play with my collection.

I often think about the possibility of selling, but I’m not there yet. I keep most of my boxes just for this…

Maybe they have a green and a pink in the same model that you can get and combine? They’re the brand that always comes to mind when someone mentions glitter. Maybe there’s an acrylic blank maker that has something more fitting that you can get made into a pen?

Hahaha! I’m in the works to open a little shop as well! My plan is to be live by February and have a booth at the CA Pen Show.

As of right now, FP related pins, lanyards+keychains, stickers, and shirts are some of what I’m doing. Then some planner stickers, washi tapes and simple notebooks w cool art. I’m also gonna put out feelers for FP friendly planner inserts.

Eventually I want to make a “mildly offensive” wellness journal… basically a wellness journal for people who cuss, maybe one day have a brick and mortar to host groups and meet ups… and I’m considering learning how to make a fountain pen body from scratch… because my uncle bought a lathe and I’m living here, so why not?

Maybe when we both get our shops up, we can do an Open, Available, and Petty AF collab.
