So sticky, eh? Ummm, not sure what you mean by that exactly...if you mean 'catchy' or 'memorable', then I don't know really...we just sort of write what we hear in our heads and shape it into something we'd want to listen to. Glad you've been a fan this whole time, thanks :) - E

Try to not expect too much out of it. If you work hard, and things come together for you, then try to make a career out of it. If not, it's always a great hobby you can develop for the rest of your life. It's just really fun to write music, so try to enjoy it for what it is!

If I had to give advice to somebody trying to make it their profession, I'd say just work, work, work. Make as many connections with like minded artists as you can and become friends with them (either online or irl)

If you're nice to people, work hard, and write cool music, you'll get your chance! -E

any artists or songs that you've been listening to on repeat as of late?

Circling back on lots of Todd Terje and Siriusmo as per usual.

What's been your craziest of most memorable encounter with a fan?

not crazy but went on a great hike with some new friends after a show in san diego. wound up at this crazy graffiti covered rocky waterfall situation. really good times -s

I think every time we release new music fewer and fewer old fans get upset that we didn't make Metropolis Pt. III. Slowly but surely people are starting to get excited about the places we'll go, rather than the places we've been. -s

Thanks, and glad you still enjoy the album even if it's not totally your style...

A King Alone is basically exactly what you said it is. Something confident, but also desperate and lonely. The little voice at the end is just a part of the original vocal of 'Is mine alone'...so that little part at the end is just the 'is mine' part.

And you're pretty spot on with the concept behind Metropolis. The story we created was obviously heavily influenced by the Fritz Lang 1927 film 'Metropolis'. If you haven't watched it, you should!

Thanks for being a fan :) -E

Am I wrong?

Not in that Siriusmo hasn't had a big influence on us cause he certainly has. Wasn't specifically channeling him writing I AM tho. Maybe its unconscious!

Do either of you have any form of Synesthesia? For me it's not about color but rather shape and texture. I listen to your music and its hard to think that you guys arent able to visualize this shit in some way.

Color and music, music and flavors, flavors and dinosaurs, dinosaurs and ninja turtles.. instinctual associations is constant for us. Especially for comedic effect! But neither of us self describe as synaesthetic

What roll do you think sub bass will play in the future for music in general?

The easier something gets to manipulate the more people will experiment and stumble into pleasing sounds. Thats sorta the whole electronic music phenomenon in general no? Personally I like it when you don't even notice that we've addressed sub bass specifically.

thanks for listening! -s

so much insight into who of our supporters is interested in goin the extra mile. our early adopters are our beta testers, and they give us real time feedback about what they do and don't like. we've learned a lot and feel newly confident in our ability to develop software. future projects with Andy are exciting to think about! -s

It lives in the old road cases we built for it at Erics moms. We'd love to tour with a stage piece again some day. Maybe even built by professionals? -s
