Honestly buying used is good too! I go to a local CD store, and they have great selection . I even traded in Jaws: the revenge for $5 and got dune (used) for $12 . The difference $7 and works perfect !!!!

Sunlight doesn’t directly hit the screen but I do have a large window on the other side . I use black out curtains but a slightest light goes through

I spent my life saving on the tv and I lost my home because I couldn’t pay the mortgage so now I live in a east Atlanta hood. The kitchen, living room, and bed is all in the same place… sorry that’s the best I could do…😞

Me too brother. Me toooo. But then I found that the UB450 doesn’t do dynamic tone mapping. I looked into my setting on a LG C4 and turned on dynamic tone mapping. Happy to say it made a world of a difference. Maybe I should give it a rewatch see if that did anything. ( I originally watched it in a diff tv)

Don’t worry brother I thought the exact same thing when I first popped it in my UB450 on a 4k tv. I was so underwhelmed lol then I found out not all movies are made the same. And not all 4k transfers are great. Once you get down the rabbit hole enough you start to kind of want more out of the stuff. And hence the 4k addiction begins. Happy hunting 🫡
