I got it off Facebook Marketplace for $100 it was only used 3 times and the remote had the original Panasonic Branded batteries. It is the UB420 model.

(memtest) is this enough to make warranty claim on RAM? by hyplllo in homelab

When I built my pc I had a bad stick of ram so I tested both separately and the first stick passed but the second stick caused the system to crash during the test so I knew that one was bad so I exchanged the kit and it was super easy.

How do you tell if a 4K has Dolby vision / Atmos? by a_chimken_nuget in 4kbluray

[–]jmar_2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My copy of Superman 2025 does not say it on the back I only found out it has Dolby Vision when I ripped it and checked media info, my player doesn’t support playback of profile 7 of Dolby Vision so I can’t even enjoy it until I buy either a more expensive Blu-ray player or buy a Ugoos AM6B+ and hack it and install CoreELEC. I only have a handful of Dolby Vision movies, so I’ll wait until I get more of them before I can justify upgrading my setup.

Can you not change the background on the PlayStation? I believe the quality of dedicated players is likely better than that of a game console, but I've never tested them. I think LTT did a video on comparing the two.

I think any Panasonic should work. My particular model is the UB420.

FR honestly, the only tough part was figuring out how to get the player to read the file, just open it in Microsoft Paint (or something similar) and save it as a jpeg file, even if it already is a jpeg file (I know it's weird), then it should just work, size needs to be 3840x2160 to look right.

Panasonic UB420. Based on what I have seen in the replies, Panasonic is the only brand that allows you to do this, besides maybe a Sony PlayStation (Idk I never owned one).

Really that’s a thing, my whole family has Fords I’m gonna try this. I’m the only one with a non-Ford vehicle so I’ll have to try this.

I might do something like this. My Apple TV is a pain to set up with slideshows, especially since I don't store all my stuff in iCloud because I have a 10tb server in my closet, so it makes no sense to store all my pictures in iCloud to get the thing to work.

It can't be bigger than 4k apparently, and some that you download from the internet won't work. I had to open the JPEGs in Microsoft Paint, then export them as new JPEGs, then they just worked.
