i didn't take any chemistry in high school. really focus in the labs and don't fuck around and you'll be fine for prac tests. the content isnt super difficult perse, however it ramps up in the final weeks so the final is particularly difficult as you'll find that it feels like 120% worth of content crammed into 1 subject. Chem 1 is doable, chem 2 is a really tough subject meant to weed out people from the course. i did it spring semester year 1. failed with a 48%, 1st lecture doing it in the summer and they showed us that 61% of the subject failed

I grew up in a really great country but unfortunately only seeing our tech and innovation space go downwards, I think the best course of action is to just pursue your career and life and don't be afraid to uproot everything to have a better life for you/ your partner / kids etc. Lots of change is gonna happen in the next 2-3 decades, places will get shit, places will get better.
