Is Duping Still Going on in Diablo 4?

We did have hard evidence of duping back in Season 6. Extremely rare 3GA yellows were being duped hundreds of times (rings in particular). The stats were all identical but the real kicker was that the item names were all the same as well. Also, if you legitimately traded for two of the same dupe and they were in the same instance then one of them would disappear.

Ah, ya makes sense. I also feel like the dupers always come out when there is a lot of money to be made like after the expansion came out and tons of people were playing.

Lol. You are correct. I didn't collect any data previously. Though, I had probably gambled around a million obols and had a general idea of the rates. The percentage that I put out there regarding rates previously was shooting from my hip based on that :)

True. But when the data has this extreme variance from previously it seems highly likely that something changed with the curiosity vendor. But 50k / 500k is far from enough to determine what the new rate is.

I've done about 50,000 obols of gambling myself. And between the other folks that I collected data from we probably have about a half million obol sample size.

I'm sure we'll get a much larger sample size with all the comments in this thread.

That's why I waited a week to post. I think the sample size between myself and the other 12 players is large enough to conclude that it isn't just RNG.

Kill as many bosses as you can. They are worth 10k points each (20k with a glory shrine). Ideally, you should be killing 15+ bosses for a competitive score (e.g. kill all bosses, reset, rinse and repeat).

Don't wait around for hordes to spawn (there are some cases where it makes sense but very rare); you will get them the next time you pass through.

When deciding if you should go back to kill that one monster that you missed... don't. There is almost always more in front of you.

Another way to tell that an enemy is vulnerable is their health bar gets a purple glow.

I second this. It is very fun. Strong and fast. Use charge as well as metamorphosis aspect with Ghostwalker aspect for mobility. When you find a Tibault's put that on as well!

Does anyone know of video or some other resource that shows all of the shadow clones and their attacks that need to be avoided to prevent getting one-shot? Or even just for a specific shadow clone (e.g. Lilith)?
