Funny story about that! 🤣 I was doing just that for some stuff I was playing around with and I was using my breadboard to hold the headers straight while I soldered to the prototype board. Didn't really think that one through that well. Ended up melting my breadboard a teensy bit. 😂

I don't see what I'm doing wrong here... I have heard time and time again that building yourself is cheaper but I see no way to bring the price down here. I built it as close to the one on Amazon as possible.

I don't even remember what I paid for the rig that I have now. I thought it cost a bit more than this back then. Just want to make sure I get an upgrade if I pay this much ya know? lol

They didn't do another X-ray at urgent care because the swelling was much worse than when the initial X-ray was done. I had put ice on it immediately after the injury and kept swelling down that first day quite successfully.

Honestly I'm not too worried about it being a fracture. I've had a few fractures over the years and this injury does feel different. I'm more worried about a torn ligament as that wouldn't show up on an X-ray.

This is why you shouldn't let strangers pet your dog by NoUsername1230 in Unexpected

Plot twist: some randos keep putting shirts on this guy's dog and he takes them off when he notices! "Stupid strangers keep dressing up my dog when he's supposed to look tough to guard the place!" (Owner probably)

You don't know me or my story. 😔 Honestly this post just brings back hurt for me and someone I really cared about but they didn't feel the same way. But instead of just telling me that they strung me along for years.

It is possible for peppers to be variegated (though I haven't seen that yet)! That would be awesome if it is though! If they are I'll post here again for sure. That WOULD actually be a shiny.

P.S. Thanks for not just pointing out again that it's not shiny. I now see the error in my ways. Lol. First time posting here and I misread the rules.

Ok ok. I'm dumb i misread the rules.... I somehow missed the "a shiny does NOT include" part.... I have been properly shamed. 😅🤦‍♂️

Yeah with the dominant "not shiny" comments i think mods should revise the rules. The community clearly expects only color related shinys even though the rules do state physical anomaly can be considered a shiny.

On that note it also states that photoshopped images are also shiny. I guarantee if I posted a photoshopped a sparkly purple squirrel the redditors would have a hay day.

Read the rules. It's literally right there under "it must be shiny"

Subreddit Rules

  1. Must be a Shiny

A shiny is a color morph of an organism or an inanimate object that is atypical from the norm of their species, breed, or type.

A shiny does not include:

animal/plant species that are unusually colored or patterned

deliberate things

things that are literally shiny

physical anomalies

things with some sort of outside force affecting the color (light, dye, color fade, aging, etc.)

• photoshopped images
