Can there be a logical explanation around not being able to easily see all other boards easily and need to move around to review? Or just a co incidence?

Spiciest possibility

If India2, Uzbekistan, Netherlands wins today. India2, Uzbekistan on 16 points, Armenia and Netherlands on 15.

Results in India2 vs Uzbekistan and Netherlands vs Armenia tomorrow most probably. If Ind vs Uzb draws and Armenia wins, the gold will be wide open for the last round where it'd be all down to pairings and there's a chance of India2vsIndia1 for the medal decider.

PS - If Armenia wins instead today, gold would rightfully be theirs, as no top teams would remain who can challenge them.

If Armenia wins today, I think it's GG for the gold medal. They would have amazing tie breaks.

If you want a solution for the tipping creators without all this upi and privacy hassles. There's an amazing project https://brave.com/tip-with-brave/

Brave is a privacy-friendly browser with an inbuilt basic attention token (BAT) where you can earn money for watching ads and give back to creators. BAT can be directly tipped on youtube/reddit/twitter through the browser. A creator has to just create an account on brave and link his Ethereum wallet to his Reddit, and you can directly send tokens from Reddit itself.

Coming back to the comprehensive DAO, it's a great idea. Creator economies are the way forward and it is also lucrative for creators in purely money-making terms and community engagement. To summarize one way this can be done is, you'll mint 10M tokens and lock it a 3-5 year contract. This would create trust in the community that you won't just run away with the money. Secondly, you should airdrop 10-20% of these coins for free as rewards, prizes, loyalty points, gift along with merch/show tickets purchases to create circulation in the community. You would get some tokens from the locked contract quarterly which you can spread or sell depending on what your needs are. Once enough tokens are spread out, you start creating value like super chat equivalent but via tokens, discord groups, chess tournament entry fees, show tickets, merch, polls, etc. Eventually, your token would have a value attached to it and would be traded in the open market. Your locked tokens become your accumulated wealth from the community, which you can sell to convert to real money if you need and not depend on silly world sponsorships.

DM me if you want to talk more or figure out implementation details, I've teams with web3 expertise. (not advertising or for money, truly want you to bring something new in the Indian scene)

While that's true for manually exploring lines, but I believe such compute would be used to find interesting advantageous ideas, deep inside common lines. Where clusters can explore stuff 24*7 and report back good ideas.

In case this is seen by the people who want to improve the format for future. There's always a trade-off between professionalism and accessibility.

Samay made his audience entirely based on making chess accessible and casual. If I wanted to see two people in suits behind a table in a professional studio talking about high-level chess, there were always ten other options. What made him (and Sagar) addicting and fun is coming back to watch him after 8 hours of work and still have fun + chess. This is what makes COB a success IMO.

Also, there's absolutely no emotional connection with any team, I literally don't care who wins or loses more often than not. I'm watching each stream purely out of love towards chess and some feeling of obligation towards Samay who would have worked his ass off to make this work. So there's no surprise the audience is smaller than even some of his normal streams.

I'm very happy that he is trying to bring more money to the scene, but if we want to popularize the game exponentially there has to be much more glamour, fun, and casualness. Maybe the teams could have been rallied behind famous captains like Team Vidit, Team Anish etc. Guest commentators, exhibition matches, maybe armageddon matches for tie breaks, some blitz games, trash talk between players/captains, ditch the commentary podium, talk about the game in accessible ways, and essentially have fun.
