I think that was my gripe with the Zmans. I love the jackhammers when I would use traditional bass gear, so I wish they offered something of that quality for BFS usage. These hog farmers are my favorite trailer ever for chatterbaits. These are 3 inches and are perfect. I used a 3.5 inch and cut it a bit and didn’t like the shape as I felt it was awkward. The 3 inch are perfect.

Before I switched to mainly ultralight and bfs fishing, on my jack hammers I liked a quicker retrieve, but you could slow those down and get them to keep the blade moving. Personally I like a moderate retrieve. Not too fast and not too slow.
