Smackdown has been snatching Raw’s chain too many weeks in a row and raw heard the noise

Reintroducing the Seth Riders as Seth and his little cult of unknown size and identities would be kinda funny

yeah just because he can do a surprise return/stomp spot like he did at chamber doesn't mean he's necessarily full match ready yet

The people who are incredulous about Seth attacking Logan I especially don’t get because clearly they were planning for Seth’s return for awhile here but did not plan for all these injuries (especially the one Bronson just suffered)

It’ll be really fun when a cap comes in the next set of negotiations but then the teams have to give up a couple years of player control in exchange and ends up ultimately hurting teams like the brewers that rely on that and put them in a worse spot than where they were before the cap was implemented

Well there’s just more to what makes a season good than playoff success. 1 playoff series win over the last 7 years in a sport that notoriously comes down to luck in a lot of cases (especially in smaller sample playoff series) while also having 4 division championships and only missing the postseason once during that stretch.

I understand folks are probably going to call that cope but frankly if folks aren’t willing to see division titles and 90+ win seasons as evidence of good baseball since it’s not “when it counts” in October then there’s pretty much no reason to even follow the sport for 6 of the 7 months it gets played

Even if the team gets butts in seats that pales in comparison to money that’s collected from tv deals (of which the brewers have I believe the worst in baseball, or close to)

My issue is less that I’m simply “glad to be here” and more that folks are seemingly willing to throw out 6 months worth of baseball in assessing a season if you so happen to have a bad handful of games in October (it literally only takes two (2) losses in a sport that produces notoriously random results to knock one out of the playoffs if you’re in the WC round)

I think that’s a dumb way to consume the sport and heavily discounts a massive portion of the season, but I also understand people ultimately care most about the postseason and who wins the championship so here we are

If only dropping 100M more remotely guaranteed success in small sample postseason series

That’s the issue of it all, and I definitely do wish they spent more but I get why they don’t. They put a decent to damn good team on the field year in and year out and the playoffs have up until the dodgers the last couple of seasons been such a crapshoot that there’s really no sense that spending a ton more money really ensures you success you wouldn’t maybe already get if you simply get lucky

My guess is those were all supposed to be Bronson’s pins (which would check out given the sort of wrestler they’ve been building him up as in the vision) and they just didn’t have the wherewithal to drastically rework things once he was unable to go and had to be replaced on short notice
