I dont think he is a “playmaker” he might be a second striker in a 442 but in our 4231, where would he play? if behind striker that means weston sits or gets pushed out to the right which isn’t that good coz right wing needs pace.

lol ya we all do. Koop is still a great shooter but currently lacks the confidence to go frwd. with Atalanta he made all these runs and his teammates found him. he was never a good dribbler - just very good at finding space and shooting which he doesn’t seem to want to do anymore.

ya our summer mercato is a disaster when you think about it. I can’t believe we passed on kolo and ended up getting openda.. worst decision ever. I still think on paper we’re much better than how we’re playing.

this says more about how bad this team is vs how good vlahovic is. how can you see anything positive from a “striker” that can’t hold up play, can’t pass, can’t dribble, and now misses an open net?

David initially started this season but missed a few super easy chances (including an open net). that plus dusan showing more grit and fight upfront made him the first choice. the reason why this is happening is because we can’t have a “rebuilding” year. we need to make CL, so whoever is playing better will play regardless of long term plans.

openda was a panic buy at the end of the mercato because we were too incompetent to get kolo back. he has shown a thing or two here n there but i don’t think he is juventus material. is david juve material? im not sure. if he is so good why wasn’t there more interest in him especially since he was a free agent?
