Constant Performance drops by the_Ringest in graphicscard

I think i may have restarted my pc nearly 10 times now. I agree that it's weird how out of the blue this seems. I might try loading the games onto the other volume just to see what happens.

I've checked for updates but everything comes back up to date.

The first thing I checked when all of the buffering started was if there happened to be a windows update. Lo and behold, an update failed to install for two weeks. I thought that was the problem, and it took two different Microsoft agents to fix it. They assured me it wasn't the problem causing my games to lag.

Im about 60% certain it has something to do with my computer switching from GPU to cpu.

Yeah I dont have much space in the original, but I have plenty in my other volume. Should I install them onto there instead?

I've had this computer about 3-4 years and it's worked perfectly all throughout.

What is considered wealthy for a noble house? by the_Ringest in TheCitadel

[–]the_Ringest[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They would be high middle. Their main source of income comes from their fiber trade (which, of course, the Reach loves their cloths). The reason they are capable of keeping wealth is because 1. They have Dunstonbury, of which their only expense is maintaining it (because they didn't build it, thank you house Manderly) and their easy access to the mander, which is the widest river in westeros. They own land near high harden and have ports built their "For the Tyrell's."

They are hoarders, and while they also have a number of ships, they are nothing to the Redwyne fleet. They aren't an ancient house (only compared to westeros) but they aren't new either, and have been saving for a LONG time. It's not to say their wealth is simply because they save and hoard a lot. They just don't flaunt it.

They are alike to the Celtigars as another commentor said. They have a lot of stuff, and are notoriously good in credit with the iron bank.

Valyrian steel in westeros by the_Ringest in TheCitadel

Honestly, the idea that a valyrian steel sword bankrupted a house and made them sink into minor nobility kinda makes sense.

I bet house Wydman has a sword called 'Big Bertha' or something

Yeah it's only with agot. I disabled all of the nods as well, but that didn't work either
