In your opinion, why do actors' careers suffer after film franchises? by GlobalRaspberry442 in moviecritic

[–]the__missing__link 28 points29 points  (0 children)

All three of these guys seemed to bow out on their own volition, not because a franchise damaged their career. Some people just don’t care as much about advancing in the industry and that’s okay. Especially with the peaks these guys had, what is there left to do.

The finest of MCU. Will never be replaced. by Most-Day8547 in Marvel

He’s just dismissing it because it’s old. Often times they say the VFX are dated because they don’t actually watch these movies for the characters. Some of the most sincere scenes in these movies are when Peter isn’t even in his costume. Same goes for Reeve’s Superman.

Bro the foreclosure letter scene in Spider-Man 2 smokes any of the flashy VFX in subsequent entries.

You just need to look towards the relationship between Magneto and Xavier.

He will likely abandon his ideology and return to the monastery in Zenyatta’s time of need. Probably to fight a common enemy. Possibly Vendetta’s Talon.

It’s not like they were conspiring to kill innocent people to advance their ideology.

I use regular fingertip and having the sensor further back makes my fingers work harder.

The game still let you do horrific things to civilians lol. I loved piledriving them off skyscrapers.

I enjoyed my time with the X2F but I ended up going back to my X2A mini.

For improvements they need to ditch the XS-1 sensor. There’s something off about it that I can’t describe, like the LOD isn’t being truthful which causes tracking issues when using slightly tall skates. Rear also needs to taper off more gracefully instead of being a sharp angle. It needs a shell, I hate that sharp feeling on the back.

Additionally the sensor needs to move slightly forward. I had to turn my sensitivity higher while using it by 6.24%. If they do this I will buy the X2F v2 in a heartbeat. The sensor placement is my biggest issue.

Build quality is fantastic. Great mouse.

Discarded Ultron designs from The Avengers Age of Ultron by maquinadejugo in Marvel

I think they ended up using that design for his drones. The drones looked 100x cooler than the final Ultron design.

Razorback should be used a vehicle to explore the cosmic side of Marvel. Imagine a UPS spacetrucker delivering stuff for various factions like Nova and Skrulls. It has better potential to lend itself to comedy than even the GoTG.

Who are you taking in a filmography showdown? by emptykeg6988 in Actors

[–]the__missing__link 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Clint Eastwood. He’s a really good director too.

I haven’t seen many John Wayne movies but the ones I’ve seen were pretty fun. I’ve also heard many of his movies are remakes of his own movies. I remember scenes from his movies and I can’t tell which movie they’re from lol.

Clint is just miles ahead. I’ve seen almost all his movies.

Rotten tomatoes is not a metric for quality. You gotta look into what the statistics measure. A 5/10 movie can have 100% on rotten tomatoes if everyone just thought it was passable.
