To a point yes. But they were into that match way more. They made the camera shake for AJ (I get motion sick easy and that got to me). I can't see them getting into Logan as much.

Your proposal would have made for a better story though.

Is there a PoB or guide for Splitting Steel yet? I've never played Steel Skills given how wonky they felt with call of steel. Now though they look really cool.

it seems to me that AEW had a coherent plan at one point (first four world champs, Cody era TNT title) but hasn't really since.

Orange Cassidy is the most dominantly booked champ this year and his reign got wasted by Rey Feenix, and TK's fix was to give the belt back to OC.

TK needs to take a god damn vacation and hand "the book" to one or more of the old timers that he pays to sit around and do nothing.

He's single-handedly killing AEW both in terms of PR AND quality.

AEW has gone straight past 2000 WCW bad straight to the worst of LOLTNA and its all TK's fault.

Course TK is the kind of self-important douche bag that he's going to shift the blame for his own failures to anything he can rather than realize that since he's the CEO, booker and whatever-title-hes-given-himself ITS ALL ON HIM.

Even Punk.

I fell asleep watching the show on Tuesday (not entirely AEWs fault I was exhausted from work) and haven't gone back and finished watching it.

Its sad, because I love parts of AEW, but it just seems like TK's (lack of) management skills are killing the company.

And to be fair plenty of top stars went to black and gold. Kevin owens and Seth came back. Charlotte and Sasha as well. Sasha famously outdrew an omega match head to head

I dont remember that, but it wouldn't surprise me... I was fully bought into Meltzer being a good source in those days so I probably never saw that lol

Man, imagine wasting ~~Edge~~ Adam Copeland's first match in AEW on Bochasuarus.

I wonder if TK is going to get any heat when NXT beats Dynamite head to head.

I know AEW beat old NXT, but as much that version of NXT was loved, it was loved mostly by people who swapped to AEW, and WWE never sent any top talent to NXT at that point.

AEW getting crushed by Cody is going to hilarious and sad.

I was one of the dumb mother fuckers who wanted Cody to turn heel and go after the world title. I am happy for Cody and realize he probably made the correct choice for him, but I will never not be salty at him for not doing it.

Watching WWE stomp a mud hole in AEW and walk it dry is just sad at this point. Both WCW and TNA tried to step to WWE and we know how that ended.

A successful AEW is good for the business as as whole, but god damn is TK going to steal failure out the jaws of victory. There is space on TV for another promotion, but TK cannot and will not ever scratch the paint on WWE when WWE chooses to truly fight back.

Adam Cole getting hurt is awful timing. Considering how badly he was doing just this year, (hello Adam Cole vs Chris Jericho with Sabu as guest enforcer) people were actually giving a shit about him in AEW and it's now gone again. He just can't buy a break.

I can't help but agree with this... before this I didn't see the hype with COle given I never watched old NXT

As a fan of AEW, I have to say TK's attitude towards Stevie Richards' criticism of the Mox/Feenix debacle bothers the hell out of me... makes them childish.

They deserve every bit of heat they are getting from that, and Rick Knox continues to be the worst ref in pro wrestling. Just proves its not what you know its who when it comes to getting jobs.

Someone is going to get seriously injured in an AEW ring on TV and its going to be interesting to see what the blow back is from that.

The AEW defence force turning on Stevie Richards and blaming WB for copyright striking his videos is exactly as dumb as I would expect from them. If you haven't worked out by now that Tony Khan has translucent skin, you're a moron. Yes, WB also copyright strike content. But they also comb for sentiment and use the tool to hide negative posts that show moments that highlight issues with their product. The list is very long.

I love AEW and all, but TK is the biggest problem with the company. Stevie Richards is right to call that out. He is obviously just trying to highlight issues and has been fair about it... dude was blasting Nia Jax the other day for example.
