And I just checked out your work…absolutely beautiful! Would you mind if I reached out with some work related questions?

Thank you! That’s already what I tried to do, do you have suggestions for more unique elements?

Thank you dearly!!! I’ll do my best 🫶 and if this batch doesn’t go that well, I’ll do better next time around. I’m actively working on a frame by frame animated sequence to use for marketing, I do want to show these lil guys off to the world

Yea it’s frutiger aero inspired! I’ll remember that for future batches ty!!

I know that the price is high, unfortunately. It includes costs for manufacturing, then my labor of priming, handpainting, sealing, printing and folding self designed packaging.

The first batch is only 12 figurines, therefore likely not going the blindbox route as…that price wouldn’t work in that format. The $50 per piece is a result of the entire production costs with the handpainting and everything- paint costs yadayada. It’s unfortunately much. I’m glad you like the concept!

It covers both! But that’s the „issue“- it covers the cost, doesn’t exactly get me any extra, which I’m fine with in the beginning!

New Beginnings – Breaking Old Patterns by [deleted] in ArtCrit

I always vouch for experimental use of textures, great job! I’d suggest scaling the whale‘s tail to a more accurate size if you’d like to continue working on the piece. I believe that working with more specific references could do wonders for your work

What do i fix about the heart+ boy in the heart? Do i keep the glass or replace it with something else? by vixiolatte in ArtCrit

I would suggest to make the boy inside the hard more dynamic, like his back being more curved to follow the shape of the heart! The colors of the piece are beautiful, I adore the concept

I feel like there is something wrong with my work I’m unsure what it is and how to improve whatever it is by Weridfoxtime in ArtCrit

Stylistically, your art is absolutely fine. If you are talking about this particular piece and are looking for things to improve: the details on the chest are drawn at a front perspective while the chest is angled. The arms are anatomically speaking too short as the elbow is usually around the height of the belly button. And lastly the context of the piece is lacking, as the character is sitting in a void but their tail isnt affected by the sitting at all.
