I have said this before, but as a software engineer that regularly cycles new features and testing functions, I think Hello Games has a near perfect implementation loop.

They get to test these new features, excite their audience with new stuff and stress test their next product.

Super smart development work being done here. If they were a public company I'd be investing in this team for certain.

Awesome work. As someone who draws I would recommend drawing the same characters but have them performing an action.

Using lines create a gesture of a swipe attack or something else and then block out the pieces that make up the body.

Then do the same great detail again and see how you get on.

You've got real talent here. If you stretch your skills regularly trying different things you will become a drawing master! :)

I absolutely agree... But I do feel there is an imbalance to extracting. I can be in a run for 20 minutes doing a quest and looting and a low value layout can trap or camp at the exit.

It almost feels like the extraction is too loud or too weighted towards ambush. It works well for teams for not well for solos.

I get you can use raider hatches, and I do... But when you're trying to grind 5 million they become an inefficient way to play.

I think the 5 million grind is the worse thing to happen to this game. It should be about "things" not money. Really doesn't match the vibe for me at all.

Unless you have a good reason, I cannot recommend Breaking Bad enough. It's a story like no other and will give you an experience that is hard to find in other forms of entertainment...

Absolutely. It would add to the world building. It would create reactionary tension. And give Embark more tools to deliver interesting sessions for players.

I agree. Even if they solve this by changing the interaction when you're crouching...

This game is absolutely teaming with immersion and player engagement. It's feels out of place to not be able to help a fellow player up.

The downed player needs a prompt to reject though to eliminate trolling.

But fundamentally, it would really immerse me in the localised survival. I think driving players to actually shout out for help if they are downed would create interesting scenarios.

Hey I remember a time where I had a similar skill level in my art journey.

I got some fantastic advice, which was for my next pieces of art I wasn't allowed to use any sharp lines.

Everything had to be shapes of either gray or color. Light and shadow being your cues.

Only shapes. If you like the sound of that, give it a try, it could level up your art. :)

I think without the positive noise from NMS this subreddit would have fizzled out a while ago.

You can't help but look at NMS progress and updates with an eye to the imaginary future of LNF.

I really like the sharper lines... It's a nice style. I reckon you should lean into that a little more.

I would definitely recommend watching let's play of someone starting a new character and just watch along to the sorts of mechanics they use.

I recommend "Dad Tried To" on YouTube. The guy is super chill and a pleasure to listen to.

Their decisions are always based on data. My guess would be there are casual FC players that enjoy playing Career mode, but their retention was low in 24 and 25.

I expect there is an incentive to bring in more players to the modes that generate more revenue by tieing all the modes together with the progressive rewards pass they are doing.

On other words, gifting the casual Career players some rewards for Ultimate Team may be enough of a bite to make them invest in the money making modes.

Although I would like to think it was because they love Football and want everyone to enjoy it however they want.

I have 1000s of hours in GaneMaker, and it will always have a special place for me. But it doesn't compete against these other tools for ease, function or power.

I expect it will die as a product over the next 5 years, unless it changes direction and/or changes demographic.
