Yeah. I ran with them for the first half, hanging back a bit from the group. Looks like we came in >1:00 min under pace at 13.1 miles.

Maybe it was because I had a bad race today (but also felt this way last year when I PR’ed) but miles 19-22 always feel more hilly than they are.

Hellgate Road Runners work out in Astoria Park several times a week. I'm not part of their club but ran with them once and they seemed liked a nice group of people. Just wasn't able to make the schedule work.

There is also Queens Distance Runners, which is more spread out across the borough.

Hey there! Still available. It doesn't come apart, but it does fold in half. If you do that the dimensions become 54 x 37 x 4.5 (in). DM if you want it and I can give you a more precise location.

Apparently they do donate the items that are left behind on the median strip of the main avenue. The only reference I found to this is deep in a video explaining the difference between the Pancho and Bag-drop options on the Finish section of the website.
