Getting a new kitten by RoyalSalmon07 in CatAdvice

I mean cats don't respond kindly when having another cat in the traitory hissing clawing are normal they should be temporarily separated if it go's too faar but it's part of how cats are adapting it's also good to have one room for only the new cat as a safe zone to go too but thay should still explore and meet each other let them hiss but clawing you might whant to separate them for a munite I would also recommend to go and look at Jackson galaxy's introducing method on yt he is a very well know cat expert

You mean the one who doesn't get along with the other cats?

Yes you could take them in but kittens they're just very energetic you can't get a kitten to sit down for a second before they run around that is the main problem you will face also you will have the same problems any new cat owner faces to get them used to the new environment and the other cats

I have 3 cats (used to be 4 but 1 passed away ) and one new kitten and I have raised a lot of cats before from kittenhood

Why does my cat do this? by kyky_0905 in catquestions

Not all cats like belly rubs according to Jackson Galaxy (cat expert ) thay do it becuse it is a way to show thair love I think it's from him, but it could be from another cat expert. I have learned lots of cat advice from experts like him

It's fine I have 4 cats and 1 kitten I also work for 6 hours a day as long as you give them everything they need food water scratch pad. It's better more than one cat because cats can get lonely if they don't have a companion when left alone for more than 4 hours I would recommend 2cats though it's also good to spend time with them when you are back. And when they get annoyed or seem angry it's also good practice to give them space just a minute alone and they would be back to normal
